Switching between tabs no longer jumps. Screens were being drawn before the safe area around the notch was known, so they appeared slightly high and then shifted down. The calendar now makes a NEW note for the day you picked, already dated, instead of reopening the one note that day happened to have. A day can hold as many notes as you like, and a note filed under a date now shows that date in the editor. Tags can be added from a note, and created there too, instead of only from Settings. A note can carry several. Document scans open straight away rather than pausing first, and are available offline — they are downloaded with the rest of your data instead of when you first tap one. Signing out locks this device. Your key is removed from it, so signing back in asks for your recovery passphrase again — previously it unlocked with no passphrase at all, which is not what Sign Out should mean. Opening the app no longer shows your note list for a moment before asking for your passphrase. Nothing is shown until this device has confirmed it holds your key. Forgotten your recovery passphrase? You can now start fresh on the same account instead of being stuck at the unlock screen. It says plainly what is lost and asks you to confirm. While your key is worked out, a progress bar keeps moving instead of appearing to stall, and the ghost has found something to do with that padlock. Security fixes, found by auditing the app end to end. On a device another Padster account had used before, a newly created account could end up writing its notes and passwords under that other account's key — readable by them, and not recoverable by you. Fixed, and the app now refuses to sync rather than ever using the wrong key. Nobody can look up other people's email addresses, or list workspaces they are not a member of. Formatting a line as a bullet, number or checklist no longer deletes it when you press Return.

Fixes for workspaces. Owners can now rename and delete a workspace, and give someone view-only access. These were in the last release but a bug meant they never appeared. Workspaces also get their own folders and tags, which you can now create and use to file shared notes. Import your passwords from another app. Padster now reads password exports from Chrome, Edge, Safari, Apple Passwords, Firefox, 1Password, Bitwarden and LastPass. Passwords you already have are skipped rather than duplicated, and a new Clean up tab finds logins saved more than once so you can tidy them up by hand.
