This game takes forever to get started, then slows down. The opening "credits" are slow, slow, slow. You could go to the fridge and make yourself a sandwich! Sheesh! The music is weird, too. There are no usable instructions save one audible two-line panel in the opening scene. I could find no way to access any options, apparently there are none. When you're being told about the mouse icon there is none on screen or anywhere else. Suddenly it pops up but quickly vanishes. There's a back yard with a well, a hose, and a nasty boy who manages to fall down the well, thank goodness! You use the space bar to highlight things that do nothing when you click on them. And every time you click in an area an annoying narator tells you over and over how dumb everyone is. This is no game. It's a very clumsy, sophomoric imitation of one maybe, but mostly it's an outrageous waste of twenty bucks that I can't get back. Probably it went down the stupid well with that boy. He can eat it, I guess. I'll never see it again. Caveat emptor.

Great voice-acting, interesting puzzles, and hilarious writing make it well worth your while to play through the story and perhaps even more than once. Pressing the spacebar reveals the hot-spots and movement options on every screen which makes for a more streamlined gameplay. Wish the price was lower. Only minor issues otherwise: sluggish menu and occasional (rare) glitches with volume.If you are searching for a solid entertaining point-n-click adventure with clever dark humor aplenty, this is it!
