I absolutely love this app! I am currently just looking for the future so I have not been reaching out on this app, but the way you can choose the filters is amazing!! There’s three main ones that you can mess around with; location (you can enter your commute), amenities, and price. I love how it gives you perfect matches as well as options like best location but flexible on price and amenities or firm price but flexible on amenities and location. I only wish there were slightly more filters and a deeper pet section. I think a section 8 filter or low income filter would be helpful, more parking options (like covered, garage, assigned, etc.), and extra storage filter as well. For the pet section, I feel as though being able to choose basic info about your pet to filter would be helpful as many apartments will not allow certain breeds or weight limits, especially for dogs. Even without these things, this app is absolutely amazing, the tinder of apartments. I will definitely be using this to find my next apartment.

Freezes when you try to search in more than one city

I’m fresh out of college and I was hoping to use this app to search for potential apartments in various cities as I get interviews and job offers from companies in those areas. I enjoyed the app for the most part when looking at the first area and have found some great potential apartment complexes, however as soon as I got a job interview in a different city and went to add an additional location in the app to start browsing, suddenly the app doesn’t load, limiting me to only one city. I’m hoping I can just use the website to browse on my computer, but it is disappointing to be unable to browse apartments in multiple different cities on the go. I have had a few other issues that aren’t as severe but are mildly inconvenient. For instance, I am specifically looking for an apartment for just myself, either a studio or a one bedroom. Even though I had these selected in my search parameters, the app would consistently show me two bedroom apartments and even two bedroom houses. I wish it would stick to the constraints I set, and wish there was an option to not see listings for houses. I also had to block emails from this app in my inbox as they were extremely frequent but wouldn’t stop otherwise. With some improvements this app could be incredible!
It’s good to see what’s available

It’s good to see what’s available and get the sense of the market. However, it lacks basic intuitive features that would allow you to better customize your search and navigate the app. It’s quite restrictive in how you can navigate through it. There should be functionality to search the map for all available properties in an area, not just based on what it determines is for you. Also, you should be able to change a maybe to a love or vice versa more easily. Tied to that, going through your “no” list is a nightmare. You have to respect each one to get through the list. It should be a simple list feature and sort throughout the app for everything. Also, you should be able to go back through or see recent suggestions (which is ultimately tied to the other suggestions on sorting and filtering). I wanted to move an apartment from my maybes to loves and wanted to see if I removed it what would happen. Haven’t been able to find the property again..where did it go? I said no to a property that after thinking about it changed to a possible maybe, but to have to go through over 100 properties again just to change one is ridiculous. I get they’re trying to make it easy by limiting choice, but that actually makes it difficult to navigate.

I need to move across the country fast for a job so I downloaded this app to start searching. All seemed to b going well. It had lots of options to narrow down the search and was great for comparing places. I spent an evening looking through apartment listings sorting a couple to the “yes” pile to definitely look at when I’m in town and a number to the maybe folder because I might want to see them if I have time and they seemed somewhat promising. Then I went to bed. The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing. It was a call from one of the apartments I had looked at on the app. Apparently the app sends notices out to the complexes you look at. At first it was fine- I figured this was likely one of the two “yes” apartments as that would make sense for an app to notify places saved as definite yeses on the sight.... but it wasn’t. It was from the “maybe” folder. Then I got another call. And another. I am being called and emailed nonstop from apartments I wasn’t even sure I wanted to see. And it’s been days and I have gotten more calls than the number of apartments I saved so it might actually send inquiries with your name and contact info to EVERY POTENTIAL MATCH. That is NOT okay. If I want to contact an apartment I will do so. The app even lets you do that in the app. WHY IS THAT AN OPTION IF THEY DO IT FOR YOU AUTOMATICALLY? For one evening I loved the app. Now I hate it. I would give it less stars but it really does do a good job of sorting the apartments.
