Life Rules: Daily Discipline

Stoic habits & streak tracker

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

New: a guided setup that helps you pick the three rules you will actually keep, puts them on your Home Screen, and starts your grid on day one. Turn the principles you believe in into the way you actually live. Life Rules is a calm, focused place to write the handful of rules you want to live by, keep them in front of you every day, and prove to yourself that you are doing it. WHY LIFE RULES Most of us already know what we should do. The gap is between knowing and doing. Life Rules closes it with three things: your rules where you can see them, a daily nudge, and an honest record of the days you lived up to them. SET UP IN A MINUTE (NEW) Tell the app what you are trying to hold yourself to and it suggests the rules that fit. Pick three, and they are on your Home Screen before you have finished setting up, with your first check-in already logged and your morning reminder set to the time you choose. YOUR ACTIVITY GRID Every day you check in fills a square. Months of them form a picture of your consistency that a single number never could. Scroll back through half a year at a glance and see the runs you strung together, and the gaps you would rather not repeat. YOUR HISTORY, ON EVERY DEVICE Your rules and your entire check-in history sync privately through iCloud. Change your phone, keep your streak. DAILY STREAKS Check in once a day when you have lived by your rules, and watch the run grow. Milestones at 7, 30, 100, and 365 days are worth celebrating, and worth sharing. CHECK IN WITHOUT OPENING THE APP Tap the flame on your Home Screen widget, or straight from the daily notification. CURATED RULE PACKS Not sure where to start? Nearly 60 hand-written rules across six packs: Stoic Wisdom, Deep Focus, Health and Energy, Money Rules, Stronger Bonds, and Calm Mind. Adopt the ones that resonate with a single tap. RULE OF THE DAY One of your rules arrives as a notification each day, at a time you choose. A different rule each morning keeps every principle fresh. HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS Small and medium Home Screen widgets, plus a Lock Screen widget. Your rule rotates through the day, and you can match the background to the rest of your setup. SHARE STUDIO Turn a rule into something worth posting. Pick a palette, generate a high-resolution square image, toggle the QR code, and share it anywhere in a tap. SIMPLE BY DESIGN Write a rule in a line. Drag to reorder as your priorities shift. Choose which rules appear in your widget. No feeds, no social graph, no noise. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account and no tracking. Your rules are yours, synced only to your own devices through iCloud. Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

The first minute is now the best minute. - A guided setup: the app asks what you are trying to hold yourself to, then shows the rules that fit rather than a blank page. Pick three and they are yours. - Your grid starts on day one. The first check-in happens during setup, so there is something to keep going from the moment you finish. - Your morning reminder is set up as part of it, at the time you pick, instead of being something to go and find in Settings. - Nothing changes for the rules and streaks you already have. Love Life Rules? A review genuinely helps a small indie app like this one.
