Two new effects join the collection. Rain — wind-blown streaks fall across your screen, shatter into bouncing droplets where they land, and pool into a shallow, self-levelling puddle along the bottom. Fireflies — they wander and glow with a slow breathing rhythm, settle on the top edge of your windows to rest, and scatter the moment you drag that window or move your cursor near them. Also: significantly lower CPU usage across all effects.

New "Melt" cursor reaction, now the default: sweep across the pile and it melts away like brushing snow - one pass clears most, a couple more wipe it clean, and progress carries over between passes. • Silky-smooth animation: rendering now runs on its own thread, so opening or minimizing windows never freezes the effect • Accumulation is on by default, with pile height matched to half your Dock's height • Simpler cursor reaction settings
