Shots now always count toward the correct hole, even when GPS puts you outside the tee box. - The lock-screen Live Activity now buzzes when you record a shot — feel the confirmation without looking at your phone. (Toggleable from Settings > Live Activity.) - Tap a club on the lock screen and the buttons briefly dim, so a quick double-tap won't accidentally record two shots. - New "HO" Hole Out button in the in-round club drawer — tap it as you walk off the green to jump straight to the next hole.

v2.6 — reliability + on-course visibility: • Lock-screen Live Activity buttons now record shots reliably. Previously could silently no-op if iOS had suspended the app between rounds. • Green-tint flash on the Live Activity card every time a shot registers, so you can confirm a tap landed without unlocking the phone or hunting for the small shot counter. • Putts logged via the "Yes + 2 Putts" hole-advance prompt now pin to the green centroid of the prior hole instead of the next tee box GPS — your shot map and analytics line up with where you actually putted. • Background diagnostics for Live Activity dispatch so we catch any future regressions early. No new features beyond v2.5's NFC tagging, Live Activity, and Best Practices content — those all remain.

Version 2.5 introduces NFC Club Tagging. Stick an NFC tag on each club in your bag, pair once, and tap the tag with your phone to log a shot — no more button hunting mid-round. An external Bluetooth reader is also supported for advanced users who want to keep the phone in their pocket.
