How to Play Bank: The Ultimate Multiplayer Dice Game
Objective:
The goal of Bank is to accumulate the highest score over several rounds of play by strategically rolling dice, managing risks, and deciding when to bank your points.
Setup:
- Players: Bank is designed for 2 or more players.
- Dice: Each player will need a set of dice. You can use real dice or the virtual dice provided in the app.
- Score Sheet: Use the app's digital score tracker to keep track of each player’s points.
Gameplay:
- Rolling the Dice:
- On your turn, roll the dice.
- After each roll, decide whether to keep rolling to accumulate more points or bank your points to secure them.
- Scoring Points:
- Each number rolled has a specific point value. Add these to your potential round total.
- Special rolls:
- Rolling a 7 in the first three rolls adds 70 points to your round total.
- Doubles after the first three rolls doubles your current round score.
- Risks:
- Rolling a 7 after the first three rolls ends your turn and resets your unbanked round score to zero.
- Banking Points:
- At any point during your turn, you can choose to bank the points you’ve accumulated. Once banked, points are safe and cannot be lost during that round.
- Banking ends your turn, and play passes to the next player.
End of Game:
- The game continues until the set number of rounds is completed.
- The player with the most banked points at the end of the last round wins the game.
Tips for Success:
- Strategize: Assess whether the risk of rolling again is worth the potential gain. Sometimes banking early is the best strategy to avoid losing points.
- Watch the Opponents: Keep track of your opponents’ scores and strategies. This can influence your decisions on whether to risk another roll or bank your points.
- Practice Makes Perfect: The more you play, the better you’ll understand the nuances of when to take risks and when to play it safe.
