This update includes under-the-hood improvements that help us keep making Cally better for your family. Everything you love works just as before, now with a little more polish.

Anyone can add to the grocery list. No more approvals needed: every member of your household can add items directly, so nothing gets forgotten waiting for a green light. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements throughout. If you missed the last update, Groceries got a full revamp: multiple lists, in-store mode, voice dictation, and more.

Groceries got a serious glow-up. Create multiple lists; one per store, or one for the essentials you buy on repeat. Set it up the way that matches how your household actually shops. A cleaner view for when you're in the store. In-store mode shows your list already sorted by aisle, in a simpler, cleaner layout. Easier to shop from, less to scroll through. Assign the shopping run. Assign any list to someone in the household. They get notified, and it shows up on their to-do list. Recurring lists. Set a list to repeat on whatever schedule works, every two weeks, for example, and it'll appear on that person's to-do list automatically each time. Just speak it. Say your list out loud and Cally writes it down, sorted into categories automatically. Sharper under the hood. Cally now recognizes more items automatically, lets you specify quantities and units, and add notes on anything, like how ripe you want it. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements throughout.

Introducing Extended Family Grandparents, aunts, uncles and close family friends now have a place in Cally. With the new Extended Family role, you can invite trusted loved ones to stay in the loop on the moments that matter. It's an easy way to keep everyone connected and on the same page, so the people who help out can actually help out. We also fixed a number of bugs to make Cally faster and more reliable.

This release is a major quality update. We've fixed dozens of bugs, made syncing with Google Calendar more reliable, and polished the small details that make Cally easier to use every day.

This update is built for the moments you almost forgot. Less mental load. More family flow. Smart Reminders. Cally now spots the things that sneak up, like birthdays and school dress-up days, and nudges you with enough lead time to actually do something about it. Birthday in ten days? Gift ideas, ready. Pajama day Friday? You'll know by Monday. Who's Driving? Assign drop-off, pick-up, or both to anyone in the family. They get notified, the event lands on their calendar, and the whole household knows who's behind the wheel. What to Pack: Tell Cally what each event needs - kit, costume, signed form, water bottle - so whoever's going (nanny, partner, child) sees what to bring. Plus performance improvements and the usual under-the-hood polish.

Create events from photos. Upload a picture of any event flyer, school notice, or invitation. Cally pulls the details and builds the calendar entry for you. Like magic. Easier household invites. Share your invite link via WhatsApp, copy it to an email, or send it through any messaging app in seconds. Bug fixes and performance improvements for a faster, smoother Cally.
