Great but could use some improvements

I loveee the fact that we finally got an app for j.ai and for the most part it’s great. Mostly, I am so glad about the “branch into a new chat” option, it’s been so helpful. I will say, though, it’s super buggy. Sometimes it works okay, but there’s been a couple of issues for me. Many times when I select the option, it takes me to the new chat but as I type in a response, it’ll show an error message and not do anything. Most recently, it branches the chat but starts from the message it was branched from, rather than the beginning. And now, the branched chat is so buggy that every time I try to respond, it’ll show an error and be all messed up. I’d love for that to be fixed.Another thing, it might be helpful to have a “duplicate chat” option in the all chats section too? also, I’d love to be able to switch personas within a current chat. I think that with these considerations in mind, the janitor ai experience could improve so much.

I really love the website. I use it a lot. I use it chronically I use it religiously. OK love the app. The only problem is it shouldn’t be that difficult to log into. Want to use the same account I have on Google because that email is the one I sign into everything with so it’s gonna like glitch out if I keep adding stuff so I like made a new email and I’m trying to create an account and babes, it should not have me stuck at the police say your age part like where you have to select what your ages that is so unnecessary like it won’t let me get Button. There’s no wait for a while for it to load. I waited overnight. It didn’t load OK so like something needs to happen.

So far the UI is really nice, runs very smoothly, replies seem to be faster, overall layout of everything is clean! I know this is a brand new app so some things are still buggy. For instance, if you have a theme on, the border of your pfp in chat runs into the persona name. Another is there’s no way to customize the background of the chat like on the website. Also if you want to customize the text color there’s no hex number option. And lastly, when a reply is generated it outputs the complete message and stops, but the little red pause button never stops. It acts as if the message is still going when it’s not, so you have to manually tap it to move on. I use a proxy so it may be a proxy specific error, but I never have this issue on the website so I’m not sure. Otherwise I think it’s a great app. Not trying to bash on it, just wanna let the developers know what they might’ve missed :)

The app is really turning out amazing so far, I've really liked it and have no complaints so far. The only thing I would ask for is a little more customization with the text. I have a hard time reading text when it's all together in paragraphs, so reading the text on my chats is hard, even when the font size is raised higher than I would have it. Something like double spacing or more space between lines that we can customize ourselves would be amazing. I'm just one person, so I don't expect to be heard, but I think it would be good to add it for me and all the other people who struggle reading that type of text. The app is amazing overall though, no changes should be made so far!

Public Chats are here! You can now browse chats that other users have shared publicly on any character's page. Want to see how people are roleplaying with a character before you jump in? Just scroll through and see what the community has been getting up to. You can also fork public chats to kick start new chats better, try it out. If you're a creator you have full control over what shows up on your page. You can hide any public chat from your character's listing, and unhide it again whenever you want.
