I’ve been looking for a less predatory dice roller game for a while and I like this one a lot! It’s very generous with free rolls so far, and I really enjoy the creature collection aspect. It is pretty basic, but I kinda like the simplicity since it minimizes the ways the game can be monetized. This game like most in the genre is 95% RNG, but there is enough skill with choosing your party that it’s not completely up to chance. Overall I like it a lot and I hope they continue to add onto the game with more variety while keeping the monetization fair. Pro tip: If you have time do 1x spins as it increases the amount of creatures you encounter compared to the higher x spins
Fun, but Not Worth Spending Money
Nyx_the_Dragon18
Like I said, this game is fun, but it’s not worth spending money on as progress grinds to a halt after about a week. I’m currently stuck trying to upgrade my house to lvl 9, but am missing a permit I can’t get because none of the trades I have available are for a permit, and I can’t refresh them at all. There’s no button to do that, and I can’t trade in an attempt to clear them all because I do not have enough Shrooms and Sand resources. Ironically enough I would get the Shrooms farm after this upgrade, but for now the only way to get them is through the Adventures, which have been incredibly difficult to land on. For some reason, either through bad luck or game design, I have more trouble landing on those two than the other three, and so I have gotten stuck. I wish there were either more Adventure spaces to avoid this problem, or the Loot spaces gave out more than 10 at a time.Another thing I’d like to see changed is the addition of probability to the eggs. Otherwise I have no idea if the egg has a 50, 75, or 100% chance of hatching a common, and it just feels really shady considering there’s packs where you can buy eggs that have a higher chance of being a better Elemental.Another problem is the “50%” bonus that other reviewers have pointed out, that it’s more like 49% instead. And while there’s more problems I’ve come across that I’d like to see fixed, this review has already gone on for too long. All in all, I liked this game, but it has some major flaws that I really don’t see the developers fixing because the only thing they’ve done in the past 2 months is fix bugs.
Good, but limited…

I was one of the people who downloaded the first version of this game (Dice Companions) before it was replaced with this version (Windfall). I like the addition of the Light element as well as several new companions (like this cat/peacock hybrid that I very much adore), but the game retains some of the issues that DC had. Firstly, the coins and items that the player character collects become useless after their house has been maxed out. There’s nothing in the store that can be purchased with coins, incentivizing real money over in-game currency. Also, there are townspeople that walk around the board who don’t really do much. I was hoping to interact with them in the updated game. You could have them offer quests to the player character in exchange for some neat rewards, such as rare eggs. Speaking of, the way eggs are encountered in this game seems tedious to me. I’m currently one companion away from completing my collection, but the missing companion can only be obtained from an egg, and one of the Water element. I’m not having any luck finding any Water eggs from the beach area where the egg usually is. It’s beginning to seem like the game decreases the chances of finding eggs with each bew companion recruited. Lastly, there needs to be an easier way to upgrade companions that are only obtained from eggs. I like that after you recruit Slynx (after completing all required tasks), you can find it in the Dark adventure area as a legendary encounter. I think the same method should be done with the egg companions rather than obtaining their eggs once in a blue moon. The game very much needs more content and I hope the next update takes these reviews into consideration.
Love/Hate
Janixxx91
I have a love-hate relationship with this game. I love it, it’s addictive but it needs a lot of improvements. There is no info to guide you and a lot of things make no sense. My biggest complaint is the annoying mechanic that makes you get gold instead of an encounter during an adventure. The probability of you getting gold instead of an encounter is too high, it’s already so hard to land on the right elemental tile to go on an adventure, on which you only get 7 dice by the way, just for you to either never land on a paw tile or if you get lucky and land on one, or even more than once if you are lucky all you get is gold and no encounters. It’s so frustrating. It takes me longer to come up with the right team for the adventure than what I get out of it. Can we save teams in the future? Maybe it should even be guaranteed to be encounter if you land on a paw tile or something. What is the point of increasing the dice count per spin, you end up with so many resources and nothing to use them for. I have so much gold and all i can use it for is upgrading the house. And all the experience? What is even the point of leveling up? Everything unlocks by upgrading the house, which by the way takes super long and there is no way of speeding up the process. Same thing with egg hatching, it takes too long just for you to end up getting a common creature, not worth it. And those faded buttons at the bottom right of the screen? I’m guessing social buttons like friends and guild? When does that unlock? only God knows, there is no info for anything in the game. At this point the mini games feel like a punishment, I dread landing on them since you can’t skip them and they waste time, we don’t need those resources anymore. I also wish the map was more dynamic and that it would somehow change from time to time or unique tiles would appear from time to time or maybe events or something. It’s too repetitive now.
