I am 34 and 2 years post recovery from a very traumatic marriage that included serious spiritual and psychological abuse. I needed help regaining my alignment with the truth of God’s Word. It was a true struggle to sit and read at the time I started using Duomo. I wanted to heal my codependent wounds and saw an ad for Duomo. I took the leap and subscribed and the last 4-5 months of using the app daily has helped me establish my true footing again in Christ. It all came in bite sized teachings that engaged my very overwhelmed brain. It helped me slowly begin to see where all the spiritual abuse had attacked and fractured my view of Jesus, God and my faith. Thankfully Duomo has been a piece of my recovery and I no longer deal with cPTSD flashbacks routinely, my waking anxiety and very harsh inner critic have lessened dramatically. I am now able to recall and recite scripture from memory that I thought would never return and as someone who has read the entire Bible cover to cover, my grasp of reality and the truth has been restored! I truly believe it is the way Duomo is paced and delivered as to why I was able to relearn and train truth into my mind again. Also, that is why it was was simple to just get on the app and follow the daily devotionals over time seeing massive spiritual dividends for me. I highly recommend this app for beginners in the faith and DEFINITELY for seasoned believers who need to refresh and restart…and of course, anyone broken and bound in this world who is looking for a path to Jesus that is as easy as opening yourself and the Duomo app. Thank you so much.

I’m loving this app and the format of this study. The power of the lesson is compact and simple, making it easy and doable for me. But more importantly, I have such good, thoughtful application to think on all day. It’s very nourishing for me and not overwhelming at all. I love the format with a gentle prayer, a lesson, a quick quiz, a place of application to consider, then followed up with a place to jot down my insights and intentions. I’ve found it to be very effective in my relationship with the Lord. Feeling closer to Him to than I have in a long time. There’s also a great search feature that helps me dive into more encouraging scripture and thoughtful insight on days when I want to dig deeper. Best online study I’ve participated in. It doesn’t replace the deeper inductive studies, but it enriches my heart and has made a big difference in how I start each day. I find I keep coming back to what I read in the morning throughout the day as I ponder how God would like to continue to lead me. I feel like I’m hearing more clearly. Probably because I’m spending more consistent time with the Lord…and this app truly fosters that because of its simplicity in function and powerful content. Having been a believer for 35 years, I have to say I didn’t expect this level of enjoyment, but I love it.

I’ve have tried finding Bible studies and people seemed to forget about having Bible studies where I live. However I really do enjoy doing these daily classes. And taking the quizzes. Yes they become more challenging which means that I need to pay close attention to what I’m reading. It also has the Bible and almost done with The Book of Genesis. Before I could only read the chapter. But now I need this so I can become more God Like. I really want to go to Heaven and be around my family once again and greeted my little man my first forever Pup. I miss him so much. I’m looking forward to having him in my arms once again and giving him lots and lots of kisses. God please take good care of my little man, my for ever Toby. He was a Mulshi I bought him and went to Florida to get him. Oh my love at first sight. And we’ve gone on so many adventures together some weren’t good but we stuck together and the Lord saw my suffering and we finally found shelter and we got into a nice one bedroom apartment. Toby and I loved living there. We had some fun games. I’m looking forward to holding him in my arms once again.I know that you will love this app as much I do. Enjoy this I know I’m going to be learning so much more.

This app has been a great resource to helping me get back in the word. Since this app, along with other spiritual practices, such as prayer, church, reading the word with Bible in one year with Nicki and Pippa Gumble , and speaking and being around my church family. It has helped a whole bunch. It is never a bad idea to use a Bible study this one just happens to be more detailed, and digs a bit deeper than the traditional free apps, not that those aren’t good bc they are. It all depends upon your hunger to know more of God and the posture of your heart as you begin to dig deeper. Just keep in mind that enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy, so don’t be surprised when you feel distracted when you attempt to get in the word, the Bible in one year along with the other practices helps you get grounded in truth. It takes time and persistence. Pls don’t give up. You should be in heaven too, just stand firm in who you are in Christ and fight the spiritual battle with the whole armor of God that Jesus gives us. We don’t fight for victory, we fight from victory, bc Jesus conquered sin, death and the grave. I’m still a work in progress but I’m so much further than I was. It is good to stay humble and talk to those you trust , bc prayer is a powerful weapon and it is not a small part, it is major and we are to pray for one another. So when your struggling with things speak up, we’re in this fight together, we fight the good fight, and we will finish the race strong, don’t fret just practice those spiritual tools I spoke of daily to some degree and never give up and God will continue to fight for you regardless, it’s just easier when we ain’t running from Him.
