I like that this is a free app but ads bombard use of it. My old universal remote was free and ads never came up but i had to switch because they wanted to start charging at a too expensive rate

To be fair, I had no issues connecting this to my chromecast and it works pretty smoothly, for that 5/5.However, there is a 15 second ad every 30 seconds and you can’t skip them, AND you can’t use the app when they run because they override the whole screen. I get that they need ads to keep the app running but my GOD it feels like the app was made for ads not for the remote. And I’m not exaggerating with anything, I’ve been using the app for less than 5 minutes and I’ve easily seen like 20 ads.

I couldn’t believe an app could be so awful until you see it. Some apps have too many features, not the problem here. Some apps have too little features, also would be a better problem. This app makes no sense. It looks like a remote but doesn’t feel like it. The track pad has a haptic feel but the lag is so horrible it is unusable. If i tried my hardest I couldn’t make a worse app.

Experience is mostly smooth with only a small delay sometimes.
