Aegister VPN
Secure Private VPN
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Aegister's VPN for its customers. Sign in with your Aegister account, connect in one tap, and see your real and VPN address side by side.
Aegister VPN connects your iPhone or iPad to Aegister's VPN service. It is for Aegister customers: sign in with your Aegister account and the app downloads your VPN profile and sets everything up.
WHAT IT DOES
• Encrypts your traffic over OpenVPN (AES-256-CBC, UDP) to Aegister's VPN servers
• Shows your real address and the VPN's address side by side, so you can see the tunnel is working
• Lists what the connection negotiates: server, encryption, protocol and DNS resolvers
• DNS is resolved through the servers your profile pushes (currently Quad9 and Cloudflare)
• Keeps a 30-day and 12-month data usage history, counted on your device
PRIVACY
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs
• Your VPN certificate is stored in the iOS Keychain, on this device only
• Usage history never leaves your device
• Your public address is looked up by Aegister's own service, not a third party
• Logging out removes the certificate and your credentials from the device
REQUIREMENTS
An Aegister account with a VPN licence. Without one the app cannot download a profile.
