We have strived to maintain a balance between British and American English, while also considering other variants of the English language to a certain extent. We have treated British English, which is also the official language of the European Union, as the primary variant. Our dictionary is not only gigantic but also dynamic. Its resources will be continuously developed and expanded. We plan to further work on this dictionary, and future versions will be available free of charge to all new purchasers from the App Store. The dictionary is an application that operates entirely on the user's device and does not require an internet connection for normal operation (data is stored within the app). - Over 1,500 usage examples have been assigned to specific senses of individual entries. - The pronunciation of words with the same spelling but different pronunciations (heteronyms) was systematically checked and about 3,000 entries were corrected.
