ARK is the project-sharing platform for makers, engineers, students, and creators who want to build real things and help others do the same.
The new ARK experience goes deeper into the create-project flow, making it easier to document your work with detailed instructions, structured steps, materials, files, and notes so other people can understand your process and give the project a crack themselves.
The app now features a sleeker, cleaner UI built around discovering and sharing projects more easily. Projects can be tagged directly in Explore, with difficulty tags like Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, as well as category tags such as Robotics, AI, 3D Printing, Electronics, and more.
Users can also headline their posts with intent-based tags like Help Needed, Shameless Promotion, Build Log, Showcase, or Question, making it easier for the community to know what kind of feedback, support, or attention a post is looking for.
ARK is becoming more than a place to post what you made. It is a place to document how you made it, help others recreate it, and build a living library of real-world STEM projects.
I love the idea of this app, being able to share your projects to the community and learn. That said, as a ui/ux designer myself, here’s a few things I recommend the devs change. 1 use less graphics for bg and more minimalist ui design. 2. Add a feature request tab so users can request ideas. 3. Round corners, use less colors, add Liquid Glass. Good luck!
Love it

This is the app I was looking for to browse projects and fun ideas to try out. After coming back to the app after a few months I’m blown away at the community. A huge thanks to the devs for making this app for people like me.
Amazing Goals

ARK aspires to be a welcoming community for Engineers, Programmers, and enthusiasts. An admirable goal the devs have made great strides towards. I look forward to the future of this community.
Neat app, needs a few features though

Giving this a 5 star review cause this platform is cool and I wanna see it succeed. That said, here’s some easy to fix constructive criticism 1) add a bug report feature somewhere within the app (like settings) so I don’t need to write a review just to report a bug (I couldn’t find any other way to contact the dev team) 2) have some way to contact the dev team listed *somewhere* 3) (the whole reason I’m writing this review in the first place) when you open the app, the splash screen video it plays on app startup likely isn’t muted (even if it has no audio to begin with), so when you open the app it immediately pauses whatever you have playing (in my case, a PiP YouTube video). If I hit play on the PiP video during the splash screen startup video, the splash screen video pauses with no way to make it unpause, so the app is rendered non-functional until restarting the app. Pretty small bug overall, and easy enough to work around, but yall definitely need to fix it and I hope that’s easy to do.
ARK now has a cleaner, sleeker look and a deeper Create Project flow. Document your builds with clearer instructions, structured details, and everything others need to recreate or build on your work.
Projects can now be tagged by difficulty, like Beginner or Intermediate, and by category, like Robotics, AI, Electronics, and 3D Printing. Explore posts can also use headline tags like Help Needed or Shameless Promotion.
