Now that the Ride! app has been removed from the iOS store, this serves as a near drop-in replacement. The only feature still missing and one that would be fantastic to have is watch complications to monitor your board’s battery level directly from your watch.

It’s to my understanding that boosted boards is no longer in business. That’s unfortunate because in my eyes, they make the best product out there. I guess it was just bad management or something regardless it’s the best product out there!

Beware, connecting this app put the screen into a weird state then completely broke my Rev’s controller board. Very sad, I loved this scooter and it is impossible to replace now. I feel stupid for breaking it over such a small thing.

Hey Krornge,I am really sorry to hear this. RideBoost only reads BLE data and sends temporary session commands (ride mode + lights). It never writes firmware/bootloader things, so it shouldn’t be able to damage a controller or “brick” a board/Scooter.If you’re open to it, could you share: iOS version, what steps you took right before the issue, and whether any other scooter apps were connected? I’ll investigate immediately.A few safe things to try:1.Fully power off the scooter, wait 2–3 minutes, then power back on.2.In iOS Settings → Bluetooth, “Forget” the scooter and re-pair.3.Verify the display using the official app/manual reset steps for the Rev, then try our app again.Please also feel free to reach out to me on instagram or twitter: @A5omic.
