Powerful, Yet Intuitive
—AS—
Everyone eventually needs to change a bunch of filenames at once. There are many batch name-changing apps on the App Store, and some that are even free. But after buying/trying so many of them, ’Name Changer’ is simply the best and worth every penny.- The app is incredibly intuitive and straightforward to use—whether your doing a simple conversion or chaining together multiple actions.- It’s extremely powerful. It supports every naming convention and alteration I can think of. It even supports RegEx and Regex capturing groups (so useful, yet hard to find!).- Responsive, Active Developer. After emailing Lucas, it’s evident that he clearly cares about his users and wants his apps to be the best that they can be.- “It just works”You can’t get better than ‘Name Changer’. Stop looking and just buy this app.
Primitive

It needs to have Finder integration. I doubt I'll remember the name of this app when I'm in Finder trying to rename files one day.
- Improved folder imports, including support for nested and empty subfolders
- Added sorting by extension and new filename, plus optional Size and Path columns
- Column layout and sort order are now remembered
- Fixed regular expression matching for umlauts and accented characters
