Mac
Your desktop, alive.
DragonLiveWallpaper turns an animated file into a living macOS wallpaper — a looping scene, a piece of motion art, a slow drift of colour behind your work. Drop it in, press Apply, and your desktop moves.
WHAT IT PLAYS
Video — MP4, MOV, M4V, WEBM, MKV, AVI — and animated GIF. Whatever is already on your Mac works.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Drag a file onto the window, or start from one of the bundled samples.
2. Choose how it sits on screen, fill or fit, and hide the desktop icons if you want the view clean.
3. Apply. Your wallpaper comes back on its own the next time you open your Mac.
BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY
Playback pauses by itself when the display sleeps, so a living desktop is not a standing tax on your battery or your fans. Large and high-resolution files are decoded as they play rather than loaded whole.
FREE, AND DRAGON PRO
Applying any wallpaper you like is free, and so is keeping a library of up to 12 of them.
Dragon Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription, ever — and adds:
• Every display, not just the main one
• Launch at login, so your desktop is alive before you are
• Pause on battery
• An unlimited saved library
There is also a tip jar, if you simply want to support the work. It unlocks nothing. It is a thank you.
YOUR FILES STAY YOURS
Your wallpapers, your file names and your folders never leave your Mac. Anonymous usage analytics are off until you turn them on: the app asks first, and you can turn them off again at any time in Settings. Nothing you see on screen is ever collected.
