As an intern with Stepping Forward LA and a former foster youth myself, I can’t express enough how impactful this app is. The abundance and variety of resources—especially in the personal development section—are incredibly helpful and well-organized. During my internship, I was able to explore topics more deeply and even create presentations to support other users.This app is a game-changer. I honestly wish I had access to something like this when I was transitioning from high school into college and adulthood. It’s empowering, practical, and made specifically with the needs of foster youth in mind. Whether you're currently in care, transitioning out, or supporting someone who is, I highly recommend this app - it was made by and for former foster youth aging out of the system, how incredible is that!

The app is incredibly easy to use and find information is simple, thank to the format or the app going form section to section is easy, finding information on housing, legal document advice is incredibly easy and the community is also very incredible very nice and fun to connect with.

I am in LOVE with this app! It is an incredible resource for current and former foster youth. There are so many resources and awesome content! I especially love the Learning Series and Geo-Maps section. Be sure to check them out! The Community feed is a great way to connect to others and celebrate wins! This is a 24/7 lifeline to community!

I can’t recommend SFLA enough! There’s just about everything you need when searching for support. They seem to have a resource for every project as well. I love how engaging everyone is. There’s so much to unfold, but it’s worth every single second. Amazing job!
