There is a popular creator on TikTok and Instagram that does reviews on this app. I had never known what app he was using until someone commented that he was using Podiums on one of his instagram posts. I decided to give it a try and this app is fantastic! I’ve been using it non stop for the past several days. One thing worth noticing is that there are no adds on the app and they also don’t make you pay any subscriptions to use all of the apps features. How they are making money I’m not really sure. The premise of this app is simple, you search up any song, album, artist, movie, tv show, or video game and you give it a rating 1-10 and you can also write a comment on why you gave the rating. It’s weirdly addictive especially as someone who listens to a ton of music and is very passionate about music. It allows me to go back and look at how much I enjoyed stuff and give my opinion for other people. Podiums has a sort of social media aspect where you can look at other people’s rating and go to their account and follow them and look at everything they’ve rated. You can also leave comments and reactions on people’s reviews. For some reason this feature is pretty underused. It seems like people never really interact with each others ratings and not many people will go out of their way to follow you. That is my one complaint, that there isn’t much interaction on the app. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this app though and will recommend to anyone music or movie obsessed.

So far this app has been great! I’m really enjoying ranking the albums I’ve been listening to. The only issue I’m having with the app so far is whenever I go to tap something. There’s a major delay between me tapping on an album and something happening. I don’t think it’s my phone since I’ve not had this issue in other apps. I’ve also made sure I’m on the latest version. Other than that the app is perfect. Would love some feedback if you get a chance.

I really hope this app blows up. I hate comparing but, as a Letterboxd user I believe this app can top it if people hop on this. I love the rating system and how you can add photos to your reviews. I typically take a screenshot of a cool part of a music video for it. I also really like how you can review individual songs, albums, and artists when it comes to music as well as choose your favorite song from an album. You can also choose your favorite character in reviews of shows and movies.

This app has everything for reviews on movies, music, shows, podcasts, etc. but even though it shows there is a books option on the apps preview images, there is no book option on the app! Hopefully that changes soon! I also think yall should add something for the top of the profile that is like one favorite thing from each category so people could see that! Great app though!
