I want to give a huge shout-out to the developer. I decided to download this app one day when I asked Gemini for a native iPhone app that could control my Mac while playing media on the web. At the time, there was nothing native to Apple; everything required a third-party download, which I did not like.Thankfully, Gemini recommended this app and I tried it. Unfortunately, Safari was not supported at the beginning. However, I want to give a big shout-out to the developer for being very responsive to my review and adding a new update to control media playing on Safari rather than just apps on the Mac.I tested it with a video playing on the web and it worked. I do want to note, though, that it is currently pretty limited. I am only able to use the arrow keys and the spacebar to pause or move forward and back on the video.I wish there was something like mouse control and volume control, but honestly, this will do. For reference, I am comparing this app to Unified Remote, which I currently use, but that requires a third-party app downloaded on the Mac. Thank you Ryan!
Thanks for the positive review despite it not working as you'd hoped. I'm just seeing this now, but if you're interested, I'd love to know more about what you were trying to get working in Safari. Feel free to reach out via the support/feedback buttons in app, or at console-orbit1a@icloud.com.Best,RyanUpdate 07/26 - Thanks for the details. If you’re ever interested in trying again, I’ve just released an update that features universal keyboard-based controls. So anything in Safari that you could control with a keyboard, you can now control from afar with Control. It works on most websites/videos I’ve tried. Cheers, Ryan.
