Introducing Route Cascading: Smarter Scheduling, Continuous Operations We're pleased to introduce Route Cascading, a powerful new capability that simplifies route scheduling for operations managers while keeping drivers moving efficiently throughout their shifts. Operations managers can now assign multiple routes to an operator in a continuous sequence. As soon as one route is completed, Citycare automatically prompts the driver to begin navigating the next route, without waiting for its originally scheduled start time. Drivers can also complete their current route without interruption, even if the next route's scheduled start time has passed. The next route is presented only when the current one is finished. By eliminating the need to estimate precise start times for consecutive routes, Route Cascading makes scheduling easier, reduces operational interruptions, and improves productivity across street sweeping, waste collection, snow removal, and other municipal operations.

This release introduces sanitation routes with individual homes as service locations, a new Vision AI Survey Mode for training AI to detect new infrastructure and field conditions, and improved route creation with directional event control. We've also added high-resolution PDF route exports, expanded map layer controls to mobile, enhanced trip and route details, improved colleague management, and refined navigation, route progress, and in-field usability throughout the app.

We’ve also enhanced route navigation with clearer turn-by-turn guidance for sequenced routes. In addition, select users can now access an early preview of Video AI, which uses the device camera to identify infrastructure assets and field anomalies while work is being completed.
