Auto Mouse Jiggler Mover is a lightweight macOS menu bar utility for people who step away from the keyboard while staying engaged with their work.
The app is built with accessibility in mind. Many users pace, walk, or take frequent movement breaks while still concentrating on a task - including users with Tourette syndrome, ADHD, or other neurodiverse work patterns. Users who follow content via captions, audio, or screen readers may also remain fully engaged without continuously moving the mouse or keyboard. The app supports the spirit of Section 508 and WCAG 2.2.1 (Timing Adjustable): a person should not be excluded just because they take movement breaks or interact with a computer differently.
How it works
The app lives in the macOS menu bar - no dock icon, no extra windows. You decide how it behaves and how often.

• Choose any activity interval from 10 seconds to 24 hours
• Custom intervals down to the second for personal rhythms

• Auto-stop timer so the app shuts itself off after a defined time

Optional accessibility-API feature
A separate, opt-in setting can refresh the system idle-timing signal without moving the cursor. This is intended for users who remain engaged with content via audio, captions, or assistive technology, but do not continuously interact via mouse or keyboard. It is off by default and requires the user to grant Accessibility permission in System Settings.
Privacy
The app runs entirely on your Mac. It does not connect to the internet, does not collect personal data, and includes no analytics or tracking.
In-app purchases
The core experience is available without purchase. Optional in-app purchases unlock an extended auto-stop timer and similar additional features. A subscription option with a trial period is also offered.

Hi, you will see the mouse move in a circle if it work. You have to approve the access in the beginning for moving the mouse (no app similar app will work without that approval).There is a guide in the menu that shows if the access if not correct.You can always send me an email and I will try to help you: morten@punnerud.netIf you uninstall and reinstall the prompt for access will show again. Hi, the Teams/Slack active status is now fixed.The app always made it possible to keep the screen active, but the additional permissions for status had to updates for it to continue to work on newer version of MacOS.The jiggle code should also be improved now to be more robust.

It’s distributed through AppStore, where there is strict policies and testing.I get some anonymized statistics from those that have agreed to share it with Apple, as every developer does.Only asking permissions for the absolutely necessary for moving the mouse pointer.If this is violated the developer risk loosing their developer account. I already have 7 other apps, and don’t want to risk this.You are asked for permission to move the mouse on start, if you did not agree to this is will not move because of lack of access to move the mouse.Added an update some days ago, so if this is the case you will be shown a guide on how to enable it.Or you can always uninstall and install again to get the same message again.Feel free to contact me on morten@punnerud.net and I would try to help, or fix any bugs.21MB is under 0.2% RAM of the smallest Mac memory. Tried to make it as small as possible, and all other mouse movers have more memory footprint. Installation is under 1MB.
