Keyboard Shortcuts Broke

September 29, 2026 UpdateIt’s still a great app that I use frequently, but the ability to set Keyboard Shortcuts is suddenly broken. Please fix it soon, :-)——Quick Sticky Notes is a brilliantly designed and reasonably priced app by a well known, reliable contributor to the Obsidian community.Pro (in-app purchase) version 0.16 is quick and easy to use for its purpose - taking short notes while seated at the keyboard. Simply hit the keyboard shortcut, type a note (using Markdown if you want) and continue your day.As an early version it has some quirks. More importantly it gets the job done efficiently, easily and quickly. The user experience is intuitive. It’s well worth enabling the developer to polish the app by purchasing Pro, which enables shortcuts.

Checklists, bullets, lists in general are not working or accessible. When a user is in the notes to make a sticky note: wish there was a pop out toolbar to access for formatting of text, color and formatting. It’s pretty basic as all the others. Wish these sticky notes apps had more functionality to make them more practical. They are all just too basic.

I reached out to the developer about a bug, and it was fixed almost immediately! Really impressed with how quickly he responded. The app is super useful, and it’s great to see that it’s actively maintained. Highly recommend!

Reliable but basic

This is convenient and reliable, but it would be much more helpful for me if I could do some text formatting on the fly or add lists and such. That would make it much more robust.
