UPDATE: thank you so much for reading and replying to my review. i retested the speed reading feature and it's perfect now.original review: i've been using hopium since it was released. i make my subs with the "speed reading" option. i've been feeling down lately as i haven't had results. well, now i know why. i recorded a sub i made and slowed it down in another app, which revealed that my affirmations were no longer intelligible and had been distorted into gibberish.

I was very excited for this app, because I was under the impression that this was going to be a free app, “Free, unlimited, and easy to use…” it is absolutely easy to use, but it is not free, or unlimited (unless of course you pay, which if you ask me, is very much so a limit.) If you want to record affirmations that are longer than 30sec, you have to buy a subscription (there’s a smaller one, and then one for the year) and I don’t believe there was any free trial to see if you even like the mechanics of the service you’re paying for. I don’t mean to be harsh, but as with most apps, this one is not “unlimited” unless you pay.So to summarize, unless you’d like to make all of your subliminals split into 30 second videos each (which I find to be inefficient for an app that is supposed to make things easier.)

You can make an unlimited amount of 30 second subliminals and you can listen to them as long as you want in the background of any app. I believe that's very fair.

I can never find subliminals that cater to my specific needs so this is perfect for making my own!! Easy to use & I love that you can have them playing on a constant loop even when your phone screen is locked.

Individual volume controls and memory for noises. Script is now auto saved when you make a subliminal, so you can reuse it later. Fixed timer bug. Stability improvements to the audio player. Other bugfixes and improvements.
