Preserved recorded material Recorded material is preserved when you remove a section from the active playlist, so the same captured span returns if you add it back. Inactive spans are skipped during events-only replay and export while staying visible on the source timeline. Recording workflow Active capture is more stable when moving between movements, and session and timeline edits are blocked during a take to prevent accidental disruption. The single clear-timeline action is now split into three clearer options: Start New, Clear Material, and Close Recording. Playback The mixer is now reachable directly from the score view. Pressing Start resumes playback from where it was paused. Bug fixes Recordings Recording submissions to the shared registry no longer reset page counts set by an earlier table-of-contents submission, and repeated submissions map cleanly to the same edition. Loaded recording timelines stay visually inactive for movements with no recorded sections, preventing confusing replay edits or tempo reprojections. Replay Manually advancing to the next recorded section before a pause marker no longer creates unintended timeline edits, undo-history entries, or marks the recording as changed. Section advances during replay now let the previous section's tail finish naturally and land cleanly on the next recorded section, even when skipping an unreached cadenza pause.

New features Recording is now independent from sessions Recordings and sessions are now fully separate. Each recording has its own session baked in, so replay always uses the original tempos and section preferences regardless of what changed in your practice session. Any edits you make during practice are saved directly to the recording and do not affect your saved sessions. Loading a recording uses its own session state, and loading a session does not auto-load any linked recordings. Use Recent Recordings in the Library screen to access your saved recordings without navigating to the dedicated Recordings Screen. Recording formats and quality Choose your audio format before recording, including WAV, FLAC, WavPack, OGG, and Opus with adjustable quality levels. Encoding starts during recording for faster saves, and a safety WAV is kept if the chosen format ever fails. Appending and saving recordings When appending to a recording, choose to continue the existing take or start a new one. Fresh recordings stay as reviewable drafts until you choose Save Recording. Save Recording As creates an independent copy while sharing the original user audio (if recorded). Section Start Offset Shift when a section's audio begins using Section Start Offset. Positive values add a silent lead-in, negative values skip into the source. Offsets are included in Restore Score and can be reset by playlist, movement, or whole score. Start offsets are included into standard sections controls, auto-continue sections now have separate Start/End mode for adjusting start offset or auto-continue transition point (end).
