Version 1.17.4 brings our biggest change in a long time: Plants and Multi-BESS. This version includes everything new since version 1.14.1. PLANTS AND MULTI-BESS Plants instead of single controllers • Your systems are now in the "Plants" section. After the update, please open your system from there. • A plant groups all storage systems at one grid connection. You see your whole installation in one view, whether it has one storage system or several. • Search plants by name, serial number or permission group. Plants with an address also appear on the map. • Expand a plant to see its controllers. Inside a plant • The storage bubble on the dashboard lists every storage unit of the plant and shows the usable state of charge. • Notifications from all controllers appear together. Each notification carries the serial number of its controller. • System settings are split: settings for the whole plant, such as location and grid connection, and settings for each controller. • With several storage systems, you maintain each one individually. • See the software versions of all controllers of a plant at a glance. DASHBOARD AND REPORTS • A cleaner dashboard that only shows the sections your plant actually has, such as PV, chargers or generator. • New daily widgets for charged and discharged energy, self-consumption and self-sufficiency. • The key figures at the top update in the background. • Charts now clearly separate forecasts from measured values. • More accurate energy values in reports, even when single meters or data loggers drop out briefly. OPERATION • New off-grid modes: in Battery-only Mode the plant runs without the generator. In Full Mode generator and battery work together. • Smart Self-Consumption avoids grid feed-in at negative electricity prices. If you want, the plant curtails PV power to do so. • Run several generators in parallel. The dashboard, the detail view and the reports show all generators, and you can filter reports by generator. • Improved trickle charging, so the battery recharges less often. • Operation mode names are harmonised and sorted in English and German. NEW DEVICES • Chargers: Hardy Barth, Wallbox SUPERNOVA 240, Mennekes AMTRON 4Business 700 and Alpitronic HYC 200. • Meters and data loggers: Schneider ION9000 and Huawei Smart Logger. • Generators with Generac Power Zone PRO Sync. • Relay contacts of temperature, smoke and ignition sensors can be set to normally open or normally closed. IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES • Fewer false alerts during short connection drops. • Error details of inverters and batteries now match the current device status. • Correct capacity display for BSO MAX 125/261. • Windows for creating, editing and deleting plants now close after saving and show the updated state. • Consistent date formats in all views. • Many more bug fixes.
