I mostly stay away from the news cycle because it feels overwhelming, negative and relentless. Newsreel has changed that for me. Instead of headlines being shoved down my throat, I feel like I can pick and choose what I read, at a time that suits me, and in a way that is much more digestible than massive articles. Great if your attention span is shot because of the clock app, too.

Newsreel gives users an updated and refreshing way to read the news. The delivery of the information is short, sweet, and to the point. I love the added context that is provided in regard to how we got to where we are now. Sort of a “here’s what you might have missed”. It’s incredibly helpful. I look forward to Newsreel being available to the general public. No doubt it will be successful.

Newsreel delivers on its tagline in every sense. The news cycle never slows down, but for the first time, I feel fully informed and actively engaged with what’s happening in the world without needing to spend an hour+ leafing through a newspaper. The evolving gamification features keep me coming back day in & day out. Couldn’t recommend this more , for people of all ages !

I started using Newsreel for my own news consumption, but loved it so much I brought it into my classroom — and now my students use it! It helps them feel less overwhelmed and I see them ACTUALLY keeping up with the news, not just from Tik Tok & Instagram! Definitely check it out - it makes the news fun & engaging without the overwhelm
