A minimalist catch-all for my thoughts and reflections
acousdeek
I have been using Otio daily for weeks now and it has become the digital counterpart to my Field Notes, and supporting tool for long-form journaling. I recommend Otio for people who do not want to be on their phones but still take advantage of the convenience of digital reflection. It achieves this through offering an isolated experience that takes less than 30 seconds to form an entry, with helpful reflection summaries and introspective questions that you can take with you for long-form journaling. I appreciate how the minimalist the design is, keeping me focused on my feelings when logging an entry, and love the ability to add a photo/postcard to attach with my reflection. I look forward to seeing how Otio influences me to follow along with my own thoughts and feelings over time.
A tool that helps me understand myself
yeterhere
I built otio for myself so writing about it feels strange. But honestly it’s become essential to how I process my thoughts / emotions. The act of journaling my emotions has become clarifying. It forces me to name things I might otherwise ignore. The zeitgeist feature resonates with me. Knowing others are navigating similar struggles makes a real difference. I’ve also found soundscapes surprisingly helpful during work. They help me settle into focus without distraction.

Very clean design. Interesting way of recording thoughts for mental health. The developer is one of the best folks I’ve met in life. I’m sure he’ll do whatever it takes to make this the best. Check it out. Very inexpensive as well.
