This one's quiet on purpose. If the app had been sitting in the background a while, coming back to it could flash a stark white screen for a fraction of a second — a small thing, but a jarring one at 5am with the lights off. It doesn't do that anymore. The rest is housekeeping: the plumbing under the app is a version newer, a little sturdier, and a little safer than it was.

We spent this release sweating the small stuff. The whole app got a fresh coat: cleaner buttons, calmer dialogs, a bottom bar that finally respects your text size settings. Buttons press like buttons again. And as your devotion draws itself onto the screen, it now takes a beat at each paragraph — the way you would if you were reading it aloud. Two of the color schemes had quietly become near-twins, so we merged them into one we like better. The picker's been reshuffled to suit, and the dark-mode icon got a touch-up. We also fixed the thing where opening the app on a new day left you wherever you were. Now you start where you should: at the beginning.
