Clamshell is an AI messaging app for people whose chats need adult supervision. Shelly sits beside your conversations and reads the room with you. She clocks the meltdown, points out when someone is baiting you, and helps write the reply you wish you had the emotional bandwidth to send. She is not here to make you “better at texting.” She is here because your phone became a part-time job. Open a chat and Shelly gives you the aside: what is happening, what they probably mean, and what to say if you do not want to make it worse. When you want help, she can draft or send in your voice. When you do not, she stays in the corner judging the situation with you. Use Clamshell when: - A friend types “ok hear me out” and you need therapy before the next bubble lands - Someone is clearly baiting you and your thumbs cannot be trusted - The group chat invents a crisis while you are asleep - You need a reply that sounds like you on a rested day - You want the chaos handled, but not your personality erased You stay in control.
