HeartX: Blood Sugar & Diabetes Tracker is a logbook for the blood sugar, blood pressure and heart rate readings you take yourself. HeartX is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Blood sugar and blood pressure are entered manually from your own meter; iPhone and iPad do not measure them. The optional pulse estimate uses the rear camera and flash, so it needs a device with a rear camera and a flash; it is an optical estimate, it can be wrong and it is not for diagnosis. Always consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional about your readings and before changing any medication or treatment.
LOG IN SECONDS
• Blood sugar in mg/dL or mmol/L, with the measuring moment: fasting, before or after eating, bedtime, workout.
• Blood pressure with systolic, diastolic and an optional pulse.
• Heart rate typed in, or estimated with the camera and flash.
• Tags and a note on every reading.
MEALS, WEIGHT AND HABITS
• Meal log with the carbs you counted, a note and a photo, shown next to the blood sugar you logged afterwards.
• Weight in kg or lb, with BMI as a general guide for adults.
• Daily habits: a simple checklist with streaks, from the ready-made list or your own.
SEE WHERE EACH READING STANDS
• A clear status with a word and an icon, never colour alone.
• Target ranges you can adjust for each measuring moment, as agreed with your doctor.
• Charts, averages and time in range over 7, 14 and 30 days.
REMINDERS
• Medication reminders with Taken and Snooze.
• Reminders to measure, on the days and times you choose.
• An optional alarm style for doses you must not miss.
SHARE WITH YOUR DOCTOR
• A clean PDF report of your readings.
• CSV export for spreadsheets.
HEALTH SUMMARY
• A plain-language summary of the patterns in the readings you logged. It describes what you recorded; it is not an assessment or advice.
SMART SCAN
• Point the camera at a nutrition label to fill in the carbs, or at a medication box to fill in its name and strength.
• It reads printed text on your device. You check every value before it is saved. It does not estimate carbs from a picture of food.
MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
• Home Screen widgets, Siri shortcuts and a Live Activity for an unfinished entry.
• Optional sync with Apple Health for the vitals you switch on.
• Light and dark appearance, adjustable text size, VoiceOver support.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. Your readings and meal photos stay on your device.
• They leave it only if you export a file or turn on Apple Health sync.
• Health data is never used for advertising and is never sold.
• Optional app lock with Face ID or Touch ID.
• Back up and restore with a file you keep.

Logging readings, meals, weight and habits, reminders, 30 days of history, backup, Apple Health sync and app lock are free. Premium adds:
• Full history: 90 days and all time, with estimated HbA1c. The estimate is calculated from your logged readings and is not a laboratory result.
• Unlimited Health Summaries, with smart wording by Apple Intelligence on supported devices, processed on your device.
• Smart scan of nutrition labels and medication boxes.
• Unlimited doctor reports, without the HeartX footer.
• Unlimited camera heart-rate estimates.
• Home Screen widgets for all vitals and trends.
Free use includes 1 Health Summary and 1 PDF report each calendar month, 3 camera heart-rate estimates each day, and 3 tries each of smart wording and Smart scan.
Subscriptions: weekly, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings at any time. Any free trial offered applies once, to new subscribers only.

A fresh face for your heart
- New app icon. Our old icon is retired. It's now a heart with a pulse line through it. The pulse line is just for style, and the app doesn't measure your heart rate.
- Now works on iOS 17. If your phone has been saying "I'm not old, I'm vintage," HeartX now agrees with it.
- AI badges. Features that use Apple Intelligence now wear a small AI badge, so you can tell the smart ones from the ones that were already like this.
- Apple Health, by name. We now say "Apple Health" in the app. Before, we just said "that health thing" and hoped you'd work it out.
- No ad tracking. We removed support for the advertising identifier. We weren't using it, and now we can't.
- Smaller fixes. We tidied up a few things you'll never notice, which is how we know they worked.
