A great way to keep in touch

I’ve been using the Waffles app for close to a year now and find that it is a great way to keep in touch with friends I am not geographically close to. The app has definitely had some bugs in that past year, but the team seems to be eager to fix them and very responsive to feedback. It’s been great to use the waffle app to help automate some of the keeping in touch that I would like to do, but sometimes forget to in the hustle and bustle of life.

Like the concept, but consistently week after week, not all videos and comments load. Sometimes we won’t see them until the following week. Nearly every time we open the app, a new version download is required. That’s fine as long as the bugs are actually getting fixed, but they’re not. Please keep trying, because it has been a fun way to keep in touch with out of state friends

We kept trying! And now we're there! It took a while to get it right and make the app as great as we were hoping, but we've just relaunched it with a brand new design and a ton of features. If you're open to giving it another try we'd love to hear what you think. All your friends comments should be available just as you expect.
No Way Waffle

I have a fundamental issue with the way this app works. 1. It only lets you record on Wednesday, but if you are in a different part of the world than your friends they won’t see it until their Thursday. 2. You can only record through the app camera and not upload anything you previously recorded. 3. I don’t see any obvious way to delete a recording if you don’t like it.

Hey there! We've made some changes to improve this experience. You can now post on Wednesday or Thursday and your friend's will be able to see it regardless of where they're located. You can also delete any recordings you don't like by long pressing on them.We still believe in recording in app because we want the focus of your Waffle to be you and your reflection and not for it to turn into people uploading highlights of their week. We hope the new app we just launched works better for you - would love to hear what you think!
