MedBoard is a custom iOS keyboard built for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and medical students. Type the first letters of a drug and the right name appears in the suggestion bar — no more leaving a note to check a spelling, no more typos on a prescription.
MOST OF WHAT YOU TYPE IS DRUG NAMES
Drug names are long and easy to get wrong. MedBoard puts a drug-aware keyboard under your thumbs so amoxicillin, atorvastatin, or metoprolol land correctly the first time.
TWO DRUG DATABASES, ONE KEYBOARD
• China — Chinese drug names from a 130,000-entry NMPA-based library. Type full pinyin (amoxilin) or just the initials (amxl) to reach 阿莫西林.
• United States — brand and generic names from the openFDA NDC directory.
Turn either library on or off at any time. Disabled databases drop out of the suggestion bar, so you only see what is relevant to your practice.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install MedBoard, then add the "MedBoard" keyboard in iOS Settings.
2. Allow Full Access so your database on/off choices sync between the app and the keyboard.
3. Start typing in any app — notes, EHR, chat — and pick the drug from the suggestion bar.
BUILT FOR BILINGUAL WORK
Switch the app between Chinese and English, choose light, dark, or system appearance, and keep the interface out of your way.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
MedBoard works completely offline. Both drug libraries ship inside the app, and your typing never leaves the phone. No account, no analytics, no ads.
PRIVACY FIRST
MedBoard does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. Full Access is used only to share your on/off database settings between the app and the keyboard through Apple's App Group.
