Totally worth it
Alawayy
It saves me so much time automatically renaming my whole movie and TV show collection. I love how it perfectly corrects all the file names so everything is neat and tidy.
Doesn’t seem to work
artificialmusik
I can rename files, but with the latest version, I can’t seem to grab metadata for the year and title of the show making the app pretty much useless. It was good at one point. Hopefully the dev comes to fix it.update:updated to 3 stars. Had to provide a tmdb api key and that started to work. The default providers (tvmaze, tvdb) seem to have issues or are being limited in some way.
Good alternative to FileBot
Luckyboyblu
Pretty good alternative to FileBot. It was a little finicky with one of my episodes and incorrectly named it, but I’m hoping it was a one-off. I will likely buy this.
Quite Useful!
Mr Gmixer
The auto detect and search is kinda finicky but once it finds the show it just works. Do note thought that this review is talking about pre 2.0, haven’t gotten the chance to try 2.0Edit 10/4/25: The 2.0 update fixed this very issue. It just works like magic now. Probably the only good Apple Intelligence use case so far in an app lol.
