New in 1.3: search 700+ gods, heroes and creatures, test yourself with the Mythology Quiz, explore the World Atlas and compare Zeus and Odin side by side. Mythobase is a world mythology encyclopedia app for curious readers, students and fantasy fans, covering 29 pantheons and more than 850 gods, heroes, creatures and legendary weapons in one illustrated archive. Instead of scattered wiki pages, every legend has its own illustrated page with its domains, symbols, family tree and the myths told about it, all linked to the figures it connects with. WHAT'S INSIDE • 29 pantheons, from Greek, Norse and Egyptian to Japanese, Aztec, Celtic, Maori, Finnish and Vietnamese mythology • 280+ gods, 210+ heroes, 210+ mythical creatures and 140+ legendary weapons, each with its own artwork • Stories you can read or listen to, narrated aloud with your device's voice • Family trees and related legends: tap from Odin to Thor, or from Medusa to Perseus EXPLORE YOUR WAY • Search by name, domain or culture: type "thunder" to see every thunder god from Zeus to Perun. Spelling does not need to be perfect. • World Atlas: find each pantheon's homeland on an interactive map of myths. • Compare: put two gods or two mythologies side by side, from domains and symbols to weapons and children. • Mythology Quiz: ten "Who is this?" questions per round to test what you know. • God of the Day: meet a new deity every day and share it as an illustrated card. • Favorites: save the legends you want to come back to. • Mythology 101: a short introduction to how myths, gods and heroes work across cultures. WHO IS IT FOR? Mythobase is made for anyone who loves myths and legends: students studying ancient cultures, readers of fantasy, players of mythology-inspired games, writers looking for inspiration and travellers curious about the stories behind the places they visit. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS • Does it work without internet? Yes. Download the full library once and read every page offline. • Is it free? Yes. Mythobase is free to use and supported by ads. • Which language is it in? The app is in English. • Does it cover living traditions? Where a tradition is still practised today, such as Māori or Vietnamese Mother Goddess worship, entries are written as respectful retellings of widely published stories. Open Mythobase and start with the God of the Day: a new legend is waiting every morning.

Decent app

This app is decent, but it is missing a lot of gods, creatures and heroes from most of the mythologies. It would definitely be a five star app if it wasn’t missing so much.
