Prepare for the German citizenship test (Einbürgerungstest) and the "Leben in Deutschland" test – with every question for your federal state, an explanation for each question and mock tests that follow the real exam. No ads, no account, works offline.
The app is in German, just like the test. On iOS 18 or later you can translate questions and answers on your device – for example into English, Turkish, Arabic, Russian or Ukrainian. iOS downloads the language pack once. Translations are machine-made; the German text is what counts.
THE TEST
33 questions (30 general + 3 about your federal state) in 60 minutes. For citizenship you need at least 17 correct answers (at the end of an integration course the test already counts as passed with 15). The app scores your mock tests against 17.

This is an independent study app by Aplo Apps, not an official app of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) or any other authority. The questions come from the publicly available question catalogue for the "Leben in Deutschland" test and the citizenship test (as of 7 May 2025). The explanations are our own study aids; you can report mistakes right in the app. The app helps you prepare but cannot guarantee that you pass.
SUBSCRIPTION AND ONE-TIME PURCHASE
The monthly subscription renews automatically for one month at a time unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. The one-time purchase is charged once and does not renew.

- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Readiness check: a topic you have answered correctly so far is no longer shown in red just because questions are still open – it now says "Noch nicht geübt" with the number of open questions. If one of your answers in it was too long ago, it stays red
• Clearer notes on the weak-spots test and repeated tests: they don't count as a test for the assessment, but your answers feed into the forecast just like practice
