New: daily streaks! There's a flame on the timer now that grows with every day you pick up the cube. Every week in a row earns you a rest day that saves your streak if life gets in the way, and when today is still empty we'll remind you to practise. The app now also speaks Portuguese, Hindi, Filipino and Ukrainian. We fixed rooms, so a smart cube no longer disconnects between rounds, and tapping a notification opens the app the way it should.

New in 1.9.1: • FTO (the octahedron) as its own puzzle in the timer: random scrambles from the server and a net drawing after every scramble. Your FTO sessions from cubersden.com show up here too. • Every screen speaks your language: Spanish and Chinese are now translated in full, Japanese is new, and Polish was rewritten so kids understand it. Case names and descriptions in training follow your language too. See a mistake? Settings → Report a translation problem. Version 1.9 promised these, but they did not make it into that build. Sorry!

Plus four timer digit styles (including an LCD display) and four sizes. • Your settings follow your account: theme, digits, sounds and timer mode are the same on every device you sign in on and on cubersden.com. • A time too short to be a real solve (like a 0.27 s accidental tap) is no longer saved straight away: tap "Keep it" if it was real. • Every screen speaks your language: Spanish and Chinese are now translated in full, Japanese is new, and Polish was rewritten so kids understand it. Settings → Report a translation problem. • Resync on a smart cube always tells you what the cube reports: synced, or how many stickers are off, with the cube's own picture. • A GAN cube that lost track while solved in your hand can now be told it is solved: tap "My cube is solved". • A diagnostics report in the cube sheet you can share with us if a cube misbehaves.

New in 1.6: • Group rooms: race your friends round after round, on the phone or at cubersden.com. Once you start an attempt, you always get to finish it. • Smart cube and GAN Smart Timer now work in duels, rooms, drills and the trainer too. • Every solve opens: sessions, solve details with moves and TPS, tap any best or average. • Your profile shows a progress chart and an activity calendar. • The app now speaks Spanish and Chinese. • Type a time without the dot: 2324 is 23.24.

Duels, after your reports from the competition: • Invite codes and quick match now work between the phone and cubersden.com. • The scramble shows right away; everyone scrambles at their own pace and starts inspection when ready — nobody waits. • Using a physical timer? Type your time. • Quick match pairs by puzzle; whoever waits first sets the format. • No more false "opponent disconnected", a countdown every round, millisecond times. The lookahead metronome is slower, as you asked.

Scrambles as at a WCA competition: every puzzle (2x2–7x7, Pyraminx, Skewb, Megaminx, Square-1, Clock) now gets random-state scrambles from the same algorithms the WCA uses, fetched in batches so they work offline too. Fixed: 4x4 scrambles with moves that cancelled out (Rw2 Lw2), Square-1 scrambles that could not be performed, Clock in the official notation. Smart cube: misturn during the scramble and the app names the turn and the way back, e.g. "Wrong turn: F D — undo with D' F'".

CubersDen 1.5: a new Train area for practising one part of the solve, a new way to set up the algorithm trainer, and more smart cubes. TRAIN Learn now has four cards: Solve my cube, the beginner course, Algorithm trainer and Drills. The Algorithm trainer, Drills and the new Playground sit together on one Train screen, with layouts made for iPad. Drills train one part of the solve: • Cross: pick the optimal move count (4 to 8), and after each attempt step through the optimal solution • XCross, Full F2L, Last two pairs, Last pair + last layer • Lookahead: cross and F2L to a metronome, slowly but without stopping; with a smart cube you also get a tempo report • Blocks: the Roux first block, and CMLL recognition Every drill works with or without a smart cube. A session panel shows last, ao5, ao12, best and mean, and "Last time" compares you with your previous day. Algorithm trainer: choose what to practise (sets, categories, your slowest cases or the ones you ticked) and how (recognition or execution, 10, 20, 30 or 50 questions, spaced repetition on or off), then start with one button. Playground: take any scramble, or type or paste your own, solve it and step through the solution move by move. TIMER SOUNDS Two new sounds in Settings, both off until you turn them on. Inspection calls: a voice says "8 seconds" and "12 seconds" during WCA inspection, like a competition judge. Choose a voice, or a plain ding. And a short sound when the solve ends. SMART CUBES XMD Tornado V4 AI and QiYi smart cubes now connect, next to MoYu and GAN. After a smart-cube solve, turn U then U' on the cube to go to the next scramble without touching the screen. "Open the app on" in Settings: start on the Timer, Learn, the Algorithm trainer or Drills. ALSO NEW IN 1.5 • Ghost races: race a real recorded solve by another cuber, turn by turn at their pace. Same scramble, one attempt, and your Elo does not change. In Battles you can also race the pros: real WCA competition attempts by world-class cubers, on the scramble they were solved on. • Your efficiency: in Learn → OLL and PLL, your own cases from smart-cube solves, costliest first, with recognition and execution times. Tick the ones you want and practise exactly those. TPS in Stats and on your profile. • ZBLL in the trainer, and "My algorithm": use your own algorithm for a case.
