Small update to squash a bug with initial launch.

Sardines 2.0 is finally out with tons of new features! Multi-Vehicle Trips — Coordinate carpools across multiple vehicles in a single trip. Add vehicles, assign passengers independently, and see everything at a glance with smart message previews that adapt to the number of vehicles. Redesigned Seat View — Empty and filled seats are now visually distinct. Dashed placeholders show available seats, and a per-vehicle progress bar tells you how full each car is. Fresh Start — New polls now start blank so you can build each trip from scratch instead of editing the last one you sent. Improved Welcome Screen — A new walkthrough helps first-time users understand how Sardines works with real scenario examples. Bug Fixes — Fixed a crash when removing vehicles, resolved a gray screen issue on first launch, and corrected trip banner display for sent messages.

What's New in Version 1.10 Truck Mode Trucks join the vehicle lineup alongside cars, vans, buses, bikes, boats, and planes. Pick the right ride for every trip. Time Zone Support Trip times now travel with the sender's time zone, so everyone sees the correct wall-clock time — even across time zones. Resilient Message Handling Ride polls from newer versions of Sardines now degrade gracefully on older versions instead of failing. Your group can update at their own pace. Bug Fixes • Fixed "Clear Seat" option not appearing on first tap of the passenger picker • Fixed a gray screen that could appear on cold launches • Improved app startup reliability

What's New in Sardines 1.9 Vehicle Fleet Management Save multiple vehicles to your garage and switch between them when creating a ride. Whether it's your daily sedan, the family minivan, or a friend's SUV — your vehicles are always ready to go. Each vehicle remembers its seat count and layout. Redesigned Interface The entire app has been redesigned to follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. New streamlined editors for selecting drivers, passengers, and trip names. Everything feels more native and polished. Smarter Data Sharing When someone sends you a ride poll, Sardines now automatically saves their vehicle to your local garage. Passenger names, driver names, and trip names from received rides are also saved to your history — so the more you use Sardines, the faster it gets. Front Passenger Seat Support Vehicles now support a front passenger seat type, alongside car seats, booster seats, and regular seats. The second seat defaults to a passenger when creating a new vehicle. Improved Message Preview The ride poll bubble in iMessage now shows a clear breakdown of seat types and availability, so everyone can see at a glance who's riding where. Better Trip Dates Tap to add a date and time to your trip — or leave it off entirely. You can now also edit dates on trips that have already passed, making it easy to update a recurring carpool. Accessibility Full VoiceOver support with descriptive labels throughout the app. Bug Fixes & Stability • Fixed an issue where switching vehicles could cause seat assignment problems • Fixed layout issues when the keyboard appeared • Incoming ride polls no longer interrupt what you're working on • Resolved issues with trip names not saving correctly • Fixed the app occasionally opening with a blank screen

We've been drowning in carpools for all the kids the past few days, but the team has managed to squeeze in some quick updates.  We did some refactoring to better follow Apple guidelines for window management. We also fixed some issues with swipe to delete in the settings panel.  Refactored the trip management data structure to follow Apple best practices. Also properly assigned a UUID to each trip for later retrieval (oops). Finally, we are beginning to add some infrastructure to support multi-car trips. Stay tuned!

Its springtime and kid activities are in full swing. The team over Sardines has been working to squash bugs and add features. Thanks again for all your support and suggestions. -small bug fixes -you can now add a vehicle from vehicle selection. -also added a “Seat 0” that has a fixed position so it’s clear to the user that the driver is always accounted for. -fixed the Delete all Data in settings so it actually works now.

This new version is mostly bug fixes. -fixed a nasty bug where it wasn't displaying the vehicle from the ride poll -fixed a bug where vehicles from other ride polls weren't being saved locally -cleaned up the layout in the sub-caption and main caption view to make the display as compact as possible
