Gran Senda de Málaga is an application for hikers, based on Augmented Reality technology. It offers dynamic and interactive content in real-time, allowing users to view digital information such as 3D reconstructions, photographs, videos, documentation, and audio guides. With an intuitive interface, it allows users to keep track of their progress and completed stages, geolocate nearby points using augmented reality beacons, launch a virtual 3D information point with all the information about the area, identify markers on beacons and information panels using the mobile phone camera, download essential stage resources for areas without internet connection, and use GPS to maintain the hiker's precise location without needing an internet connection, generating zero impact on the Environment and promoting Responsible Hiking.
