Also fixed in this version: the map centers on you when you open it, the app no longer freezes when the phone runs low on memory, stories play where they should, tapping a notification opens the message it belongs to, and the largest text sizes fit on screen.

You walk, you take in the view, and the guide keeps telling you the story. And a trip is one trip again. Before, every time you paused the guide and started walking again, the app opened a brand-new trip — a full day could end up chopped into ten pieces in your history. Now, if you come back within an hour, it's the same trip. The way it actually happened. The map is easier to read, too: north stays fixed when the guide is off, the compass is back, and the buttons are where your thumb can reach them. About the last version: it wouldn't open on iPhones running anything older than iOS 26. That's fixed — updating takes care of it. Sorry for the time you spent locked out. Everything else was housekeeping: steadier GPS at startup, sign-up without interruptions, no more surprises when you log in or out, and a plans screen that tells the truth about price and limits.

This one is all about polish. We went through the app and smoothed out the rough edges you told us about. Tuggi now opens every time, without getting stuck on the loading screen. Stories play in the language you picked, skipping ahead works properly, and the guide no longer pauses on its own while you walk. The compass is far more accurate, so the arrow points where you're actually heading. Offline listening got smarter too: Tuggi keeps what you haven't heard yet and frees up space by clearing what you already listened to. We also restored access for subscribers who were locked out, fixed the daily free audio count, and reviewed the wording across every language. Fewer crashes, less memory, and a smoother walk overall. This is our biggest update yet, and it's all about helping you notice more of what's around you. You can now find events and places happening near you. Open the new Explore view to see what's nearby, events are sorted by time, so it's easy to spot what's on right now or later today. Tap anything to learn more, listen, get directions, or set a reminder so it doesn't slip by. We also taught Tuggi to speak your language, even when a story hasn't been recorded in it yet, it's now created for you right on the spot. On top of that, we added Mandarin and Korean, and place names finally show up translated too. New here? Your very first walk now comes with a little guided moment: Tuggi points you to the nearest spot and plays its welcome story, so the whole idea clicks in seconds. We also spent a lot of time making the everyday feel solid. GPS no longer freezes on iOS, your location starts more reliably, and the map follows you gently — even when you stop to take it all in.
