The LeckerStecker app is the perfect helper for anyone working with electricity – whether in crafts, DIY projects, motorhome conversions, photovoltaics, or on construction sites. With just a few inputs, you can calculate the optimal cable cross-section – quickly, reliably, and intuitively.
Whether it's direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC) – the app intelligently calculates the required minimum cable cross-section based on voltage, current, and cable length. It takes practical standard values and permissible losses into account to provide you with a realistic and safe recommendation.
The app allows you to choose between DC and AC. Simply enter the desired voltage in volts, the current in amperes, and the cable length in meters. With a tap on the calculate button, you instantly get the required minimum cross-section in square millimeters. If any inputs are missing or invalid, this will be clearly and understandably displayed. The operation is intentionally kept simple so that both beginners and professionals can easily navigate it.
