There is a lot of good about this one.1) tutorials explain most advanced logic. 2) no unskippable forced ads.3) extra challenges that are optional Here is a tip. Nishio is a well known trick where you can place something in your head and hope you find a contradiction or solve the puzzle. Master levels often seem to need it. But if there are only two places left, and you still have your guess you can try reverse Nishio. If one choice lets you place a bunch and the other choice gets you stuck again, guess the one that gets you stuck. If you are right you can do it again, picking the next choice that doesn’t help you much, and if you are wrong, well you just solved a lot more of the puzzle.

Even with music turned off in settings I’m still getting music. This one small thing ruins my game play. I play while listening to audiobooks, and I can’t do that if the music is playing. I already deal with ads not having the option to mute- that was ok-ish because I would just pause the book during the short ad. But not being able to turn off music means I just won’t play this game anymore, which is a shame because I played this a lot. — saw this updated again so gave it another shot and it’s even worse. No more clean white grid lines. The whole grid is very messy and busy looking now. I don’t know who they think is playing their game, but it’s not a bunch of preschoolers, and this looks like a preschooler colored it now.

Just like with other games, there are pros and cons. What I find ridiculous is that you have to be invited to the VIP levels and then have to pay in order to be able to mark off squares that can’t be queens. And what’s even more annoying is that the buttons are so ridiculously sensitive that despite not pressing hard at all, the game will mark as if you were trying to place a queen when you weren’t. There are other identical games out there where these issues are not the case…

I was completely addicted to this game until I got to level 417, a 9x9 grid. I got to a standstill so I watched an ad for a hint (which has been very helpful to me in learning strategies to help me solve the puzzles), but this time the hint was: These three squares are not queens. Sure, now I can solve the puzzles but how could I have figured that out in my own? I would have had to guess? But that goes against the point of the game which is to use only logic to solve. Well, I didn’t need another addictive game anyway ☹️
