Every German word gets a funny picture you can't forget.
"kommen" means "to come" — picture a king shouting "Come, men!" to his feast. "wo" means "where" — picture someone waking up on the moon: "Whoa! Where am I?" Each word in WordStory comes with a cartoon and a short story that ties the German sound to its meaning. Laugh once, and the word sticks.
