Tired of rain ruining your freshly hung washing? Stop playing the guessing game! WashingBuddy uses your local weather forecast to work out how long each type of laundry will take to dry outside, and shows you the best days and times to hang it out. And when the weather won't play ball, it tells you how long drying indoors will take, and what it'll cost.
Imagine: stress-free laundry days, knowing your clothes will dry perfectly.
WASHINGBUDDY HELPS YOU:
- Know Before You Hang: Get a drying estimate for everything from delicates to denim, based on the weather right where you are.
- Plan Ahead: The Drying Forecast highlights your best laundry days.
- Dry Indoors, Smartly: No drying weather? Compare tumble dryers, heated airers, dehumidifiers and airers by drying time and estimated running cost. Set your electricity price, or create your own drying methods.
- See Rain Coming: A next-hour rain chart shows exactly when showers are due (where available).
- Look After Your Clothes: Care-label reminders, plus guides to laundry symbols, fabric care and stain removal.
- Personalise Your Setup: Tell WashingBuddy about your washing line's sun and wind for more accurate predictions.
WashingBuddy is designed to make your life easier, whatever the season.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
WashingBuddy 1.4.0 is our biggest update yet.
INDOOR DRYING
Not a drying day? Switch to Indoor on Drying Now. Pick a tumble dryer, heated airer, dehumidifier or a simple airer and see how long your load will take, when it'll be done, and roughly what it'll cost to run. Set your electricity price, adjust the built-in methods or create your own, and get a heads-up when a care label says no tumble drying.
LIVE ACTIVITY (PRO)
Keep an eye on your washing line from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a countdown to your last item, a rain warning, and a button to clear the line when you bring it in.
SMART LEARNING (PRO)
WashingBuddy now learns from when you actually bring your washing in, so its estimates get more accurate for your line over time. If something's still damp, just tap Still Damp.
ALSO NEW
• A drying progress chart for each load, showing how it's really coming along
• A rain chart for the next hour when showers are on the way (where available)
• Send feedback or report a problem from inside the app
• Statistics now show indoor and outdoor drying times separately, plus your indoor running costs
FIXES
• A light trace of rain no longer rules out an otherwise good drying day
• More reliable when updating from older versions
