WHAT'S NEW IN 26.14.2 JOIN A CHALLENGE BY SCANNING ITS QR CODE • On the Reading Challenges page, tap the QR icon and point your camera at the QR code of the invitation • The challenge opens for you to look at before you join, just as with a typed code • The camera is only used to read the code; nothing is recorded or sent RESTORE PURCHASES • New "Restore purchases" button on the subscription screens brings back a subscription you bought earlier with the same Apple ID SIGN-IN AND SYNC • Sign up with Google or Apple through a friend's invitation link and your friend is now credited • A wrong password no longer clears a guest's data in the app, and sign-in messages are clearer • Highlights, notes and bookmarks made offline now sync to the right account • The leaderboard tells you when it could not refresh and offers Retry ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Small fixes and improvements

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.14.0 PRIVATE READING CHALLENGES • Once you have some reading behind you, create your own reading challenge for the people you read with: friends, family, your house group or your class • Invite them with a code, a link or a QR code; nobody can join without one • Join a friend's challenge with a code, follow the group's progress and send each other a word of encouragement • Your privacy: the people you read with see your first name and initial and how many of the challenge's books you've finished, never which books and never a ranking • Block or report anyone, straight from the challenge ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Small fixes and improvements

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.13.0 READING STATS • See your week streak and your Perfect Weeks: the weeks you read every day, Monday to Sunday • Your reading minutes over the last 12 weeks, your top authors and series this year, and your reading pace • Set a weekly reading goal in minutes YEAR IN REVIEW • From 1 December, relive your year in reading in a few cards: your minutes, your books, your longest streak, your favourite book and author • Share any card in one tap ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • On the search page, the search key on the keyboard now searches straight away • Small fixes and improvements

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.12.4 YOUR PRIVACY • A new Privacy section in Settings lets you choose whether the app records how it is used, such as the screens you open and the books you view. We use this only to improve ZTF Books • A short notice explains this the first time you open the updated app, and you can change your choice at any time • We show no ads and never sell your data • The Privacy section also links to our privacy policy ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Small fixes and improvements

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.12.3 NOTIFICATIONS • Tapping a notification now opens the page it is about, whether the app was open, in the background or closed • On iPhone, a notification that arrives while the app is open now shows once, and tapping it takes you to its page • Tapping an item in the in-app notifications list opens its page instead of closing it COVERS AND DOWNLOADS • Covers of books you have already seen or downloaded now show when you are offline • A book that is not available offline shows a neutral placeholder, never another book's cover • Downloaded books keep their own copy of the cover • The Downloaded tab hides a statistic that was never loaded instead of showing it as 0 CONTINUE READING • Your Continue Reading row now belongs to your account: signing out and into another account no longer shows the previous reader's books ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • The "Session expiring" message now shows the number of days instead of a placeholder • Small fixes and improvements

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.12.2 SHARE A BOOK • Sharing a book from its page now sends a message that reads like a recommendation: the title, the series, the author and the opening of the description, with one link to the book • The words around the book follow the app's language, English or French; the description stays in the book's own language • The share sheet itself now follows your device's language REVIEWS • A review now takes a star rating and at least 20 characters of text, and a counter under the box shows how far you are • Already reviewed a book? Its button now reads Edit My Review and opens your review, so a rating you left without words can get them • Who can review now follows one rule: a free book, a book you own, or any book while a plan or voucher gives you the whole catalogue. Signed out, the form asks you to sign in • A review that could not be saved now says so, instead of showing "Review submitted" ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • The Empty cart button works again: it used to put every book back • When borrowed books leave your downloads because your access has ended, the notice now says that your subscription or voucher access has ended, and that everything you own is still there

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.12.1 PLAN DESCRIPTIONS IN FRENCH When your app is in French, the descriptions of the subscription plans and of the institutional plans now read in French. Plan names stay as they are. ACCOUNT AND SIGN-IN • Deleting your account now signs you out cleanly and brings you back to the Home tab as a guest: no black screen, and no greeting by name afterwards • Signing out on a shared iPhone or iPad stops notifications meant for the previous reader from reaching it • Each notification switch now changes only itself, and the switches show your saved choices from the first moment READING TIME • Reopening a book after a voucher, a plan change or a book order no longer credits the time you spent away from it • The reading clock is attached to the reader every time a book opens UPDATE SCREEN • When an update is required, the screen checks again on its own when you come back to the app, and a Check again button lets you retry. Update now opens ZTF Books' own App Store page FIRST LAUNCH • With no connection, you can still choose a currency from a built-in list, and the full list loads as soon as you are back online • Keeping the French default now also sets your reading language, and it reaches a new account when you sign in ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Paid plans are billed securely through your Apple Account, and each plan card now shows the App Store's own figure, the one Apple asks you to confirm • A voucher cannot pay for a gift yet: Redeem Voucher stays off for a gift cart, and the app says why • The book page no longer shows raw labels where "subscribed", "downloads" and "read" belong, and the account-verification screen is in French • The French Home shelf reads « Nouveautés en français », with the language name in lower case as French writes it

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.12.0 ONE LANGUAGE CHOICE, FOR THE APP AND YOUR BOOKS Choose your language when you first open the app, or at any time under More > Language. That one choice now sets both the app's language and the language we offer books in, and the list shows how many books each language has. The Language option in Account Settings has gone, so More > Language is now the one place to change it. Signed in, your choice is saved to your account; signed out, it stays on your device and is saved when you sign in. Where we have enough titles in your language, Explore (the Series tab) opens on them and, when you are signed in, Home adds a "New in [your language]" shelf, with See All to browse every one, newest first. Want the whole catalogue? Clear the language filter in Explore. Updating from an earlier version? Choose your language once under More > Language to turn this on. Fixed: the app no longer switches back to English after you sign in or reopen it. READING TIME THAT REFLECTS REAL READING Reading time now pauses after 15 minutes without a page turn, so a book left open no longer counts as reading, and your stats and the leaderboard show what you actually read. We also now record where you are within a chapter, not only which chapter you have reached. If you have reached the end of a book that is not yet in your finished count, it now says "Confirming your finish" and explains why, instead of showing it as finished. VOUCHERS, CHECKED AS YOU TYPE Your voucher code is now checked as you type it, and you see straight away what it covers or why it can't be used, including when you have already used it on your account. A voucher that covers several books, such as the welcome voucher's 2 free books, is now used for all of them in one order, so no book is lost: Redeem Voucher stays unavailable until your cart holds the right number of books. Every message in the cart and at checkout now follows the app's language, English or French, as do the subscription page and the sign-in prompt. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • The country you chose when you first opened the app is now saved to your account if it has none yet, so it shows in Account Settings and as your flag on the leaderboard • Leaderboard flags now appear for every country, Burkina Faso and DR Congo included • Signing in no longer resets your language and currency to your first-launch choices • Changing your currency can no longer switch your notifications off • On a shared device, signing out keeps your reading and your country from following the next person • After verifying your account, you now land in the full app • Explore's language filter now shows each language by its proper name, with the real number of books in it • In Explore, an earlier, slower filter can no longer replace the results you asked for last • If you lead an institution, its card on the Subscriptions screen now speaks to you as its leader

WHAT'S NEW IN 26.11.1 • A downloaded book that could no longer be opened now repairs itself. The app fetches a fresh copy once, on its own, instead of leaving you with a book that will not open. • If you are offline, your downloaded copy is left exactly as it is — nothing is deleted on the strength of a failure that might simply be a missing connection. • You can now empty your whole cart in one action, rather than removing books one at a time. • The app's language can be changed without signing in. • Settings shows how much space your downloaded books are using. • If an organisation covers your subscription, you can now see the date that cover runs to.

YOUR SUBSCRIPTION NOW WORKS LIKE A LIBRARY CARD • Books you bought, added for free, or were given stay in your library for good • Books borrowed with a subscription are returned when it ends, after the grace period — the same way a library loan works • Your grace period now genuinely keeps your access open right through to its last day NEW — READING CHALLENGES • Join a time-boxed reading challenge and read towards it alongside everyone else taking part • Three kinds of target: books of your choosing, a specific list, or books from a series • Follow your own progress beside the group total — others never see what you read • Open a challenge's books and series straight from the challenge • When a book you finish counts towards a challenge, we tell you straight away • Suggest a challenge from the Challenges screen or from a book's own page ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • Sharing a challenge now works on iPhone and iPad • Challenge text appears in your own language rather than English • A short card on Home points out what is new after an update, and retires itself • Contact Us now sends successfully, and in your language

FIXED • Contact Us now works. Messages were failing to send, and some choices could never go through at all. • Opening a book no longer resets your reading progress or loses your place. This was the cause behind reading counts that looked far too low. • Finished books and reading time keep counting even if you lock your phone instead of closing the reader • Your reading position now shows correctly again, so a book you have read to the end no longer reads as 0% • Tapping a question on the Institutional Plans page opens that exact answer, not the top of the list If your "books read" count looked wrong, this version fixes the cause and restores what we can.

26.9.0 — Institutional access: join your church, school or seminary New - Institutional access — if your organisation has a shared plan, tap Join Institution in Settings, enter the code your leader gave you, and the full catalogue unlocks on your own account. Your reading stays private — your leader never sees what you read. - Institutional Plans — browse the seat tiers, see what's included and who it's for, read the help articles, and apply without leaving the app. - Your subscription page now shows who covers you — and if your organisation's plan lapses, it tells you exactly what to do instead of leaving you guessing. Fixed - Finished books and reading time now count even when you lock your phone or switch apps instead of closing the reader. A session that ended that way could be lost before, which is why some books you finished never showed in your stats or on the leaderboard. - The app reaches your books noticeably faster, especially if you're not signed in. - Home uses far less data — book covers download a fraction of what they used to, which matters on a slow or metered connection. - A tooltip showed a raw code instead of readable text on most languages. Look for Join Institution and Institutional Plans under Settings.

26.8.0 — Coming Soon: never miss a new release New - Coming Soon — browse upcoming releases before they're out and tap Notify Me on any title. You'll get an alert (and a spot in your personal, reorderable watch list) the moment it goes live. - Your notification history now shows every alert you've received, not just app-wide announcements — including release alerts for books you're watching and reading-plan reminders. Fixed - The read-aloud control panel no longer covers the page while you're listening — it stays docked to the bottom. - Coming Soon books no longer show a misleading price on their cover — you'll see the release date instead. Look for the new Coming Soon row on Home, or find it under the eBooks menu. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.7.0 — Immersive reading, smarter Continue Reading New - Immersive Reading — tap anywhere on the page to hide the app's bars and your phone's status bar for a full, distraction-free view; tap again to bring them back. On by default, and you can turn it off per book in Settings. - Continue Reading now sits front and centre on Home, with a "Next in Series" pick right below it whenever you're partway through a series. Improved - Books with a few pages of extra material after "The End" — acknowledgments, an appendix, and the like — now mark themselves Finished as soon as you've genuinely finished the story, without waiting on pages most readers never open. - Continue Reading refreshes every time you return to the app, so it always shows the book you're actually reading, not a stale pick from earlier. Fixed - Fixed a phone-specific issue where the reader's hidden bars could unexpectedly resurface after using Immersive Reading. Tap the page while reading to try Immersive Reading. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.6.1 — Smoother browsing, easier gifting New - Flash Sales is now just a tap away from Home, via a new lightning-bolt icon in the top bar — with a badge whenever a deal is currently live. - Buy as Gift now works for any paid book, no matter your account type, including readers who couldn't buy or gift books before. We also added a friendly heads-up if you accidentally try to send a gift to your own email address. - A new "Most Active Readers" leaderboard view ranks readers by time spent reading rather than books finished — so if you're a dedicated reader partway through a title, you'll finally show up too. Improved - Wishlist, Favourites, and category/series "view all" pages now load smoothly as you keep scrolling, instead of stopping after 10 books. - Browsing on a tablet or wide screen? Book rows like Continue Reading, New & Trending, and Series now use your full screen width instead of being squeezed into a narrow column, alongside several other tablet layout refinements across the app. - Reading-time estimates are more accurate and reliable, with extra safeguards in place, and reading sessions now retry quietly in the background if your connection drops, so a dropped connection won't cost you your reading time. - Tidied up the cart's price display on smaller phones so nothing overlaps or runs off-screen. Fixed - Fixed an issue where opening a book's reviews right after its details page could briefly show an incorrect reading-time estimate or series badge. - Gift-related error messages now correctly name the book in question and clearly tell you whether you or the recipient already owns it. - Fixed a rare case where adding a book to your cart didn't always show up right away. - Fixed a rare timing issue where a previous account's leaderboard could briefly appear after switching accounts. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.6.0 — Flash Sales are here New - Flash Sales — a new page listing every active deal, one tap away from a home-page banner or the More menu. - Discount badges now show up wherever a discounted book appears — the browsing grid, the book's own detail page, and the price. - Redesigned home-page deal banner with a live countdown and a "Grab the Deal" button, now combined with our promotions carousel into one row instead of two. - See more deals at a glance — the banner grid fits more books at once and adapts to your screen, tablets included. Improved - About Us page reordered for an easier read, and the Mission/Vision section no longer looks cramped on smaller screens. - More menu tidied up with cleaner, better-grouped settings. - Deal banner images load faster and no longer appear stretched. Fixed - Subscription history no longer stays blank the first time you open it. - Fixed a crash that could happen opening the app from a link pointing to a screen it didn't recognise. - Fixed a bug where a book's cover could briefly show up on a different book's Flash Sales card. - Flash Sales now loads noticeably faster. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.5.5 — A clearer Reading Space, and highlights and notifications that behave New - Home's "Your Reading Space" card redesigned for a clearer, more organised layout. Fixed - Notifications now load reliably — no more "could not load notifications" errors. - A book with a purple highlight no longer loses its entire highlight list. - Change Password now works correctly for accounts signed in with a social provider, not just email. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.5.4 — Personalised greetings, in-app verification, and a fairer leaderboard New - A personalised "Good morning/afternoon/evening" greeting welcomes you back on the Home screen. - Verify your account right in the app — no more digging through your inbox. - Earn Rewards and What's New are now one tap away from Home. - The leaderboard now rewards genuine reading time, not just book count, and shows when a reader was last active. Fixed - Subscribers can now add any book to their cart, and are no longer blocked from downloading books they already have full access to. - Cancelling a subscription no longer cuts off your access early — it now lasts through the period you already paid for. - Notifications now reach everyone, including accounts that never visited notification settings. - Reading progress is no longer lost when you background the app mid-chapter. - Books no longer get stuck in the wrong Library tab after switching apps. - Exiting the reader now consistently takes you back to the book's details page, wherever you started reading from. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.5.2 — FAQ/KB links, review voting, and a few crash fixes New - FAQ and Knowledge Base links now open right in the app instead of your browser. - Vote "Was this helpful?" on any review in the full list, not just the book's top pick. Fixed - A few crashes, including one during read-aloud in the background and one while browsing Account Settings. - Currently Reading now shows only your most active books, not every book you've ever opened.

Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.5.1 — Reading Plans, notifications, and a more reliable Library New - Reading Plans: set a pace for any book, earn badges as you go, and get a free book automatically when you finish one. - Notifications: tap the bell on Home for reading reminders and updates — sign in to see your history. Fixed - Books could get stuck in the wrong Library tab, or briefly show the wrong reading progress right after closing the reader — tightened so Downloaded, Reading and Finished always reflect where you actually are. - Some badge rewards (reading streaks) weren't showing their reward-emailed notice even though the free book had already been sent. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.4.10 — Reading stats you can trust, and a Help Centre that listens Improved - The reading leaderboard now counts finished books correctly — a bug was dropping the last few minutes of a session before the finish check ran. - Reading goals now build a real habit: minimums raised to Daily 30+ minutes, Monthly 1+ book, Yearly 6+ books. - Invite a Friend now shares your real referral link, so a signup through it actually counts towards your rewards. - FAQs and Knowledge Base articles now have a "Was this helpful?" Yes/No that's remembered, not just for the session. Fixed - Sharing an FAQ or Knowledge Base article no longer fails on iPhone or iPad. - Long FAQ and article answers now copy as a short excerpt with a link, instead of the entire text. - Knowledge Base articles gained a Copy button. Thank you for reading with ZTF Books.

26.4.9 — Support an agent, read more comfortably New - Support your favourite Sales Agent: add their code at checkout so your purchase is credited to them. - For Sales Agents: a new in-app dashboard — your agent code and QR to share, your vouchers, and your commission balance — with faster voucher creation.
