Light Layout Pro is a field planning tool for electricians working on remodel, retrofit, and new-construction recessed-can layouts. Enter the dimensions you measured, then compare fixture spacing against the framing and ceiling-item model before marking the ceiling.
PRECISION LAYOUT
• Enter room length and width, target fixture count, framing direction, first framing line, on-center spacing, can diameter, and Safety Buffer.
• Compare centered single-row, multi-row, and grid patterns.
• Add measured HVAC registers, return grilles, access panels, speakers, detectors, or other rectangular and round ceiling items. Enter each item's size, position, and coordination clearance.
• Review modeled fixture-to-framing and fixture-to-ceiling-item conflicts, spacing, clearances, and wall measurements.
• Fine-tune spread and whole-layout shift while the diagram and measurements update together.
• Share the result as text or an image. Your work is there when you reopen the app.

• Electrical Math: solve single-phase volts, amps, ohms, watts, VA, power factor, and VAR from entered values.
• Bender Profile: keep your own take-up, gain, and deduction numbers together.
The free tools use geometry, arithmetic, or physics from values you enter. Verify results against your bender, materials, plans, job specifications, and applicable local requirements.
The Field Reference keeps the layout method, bend multipliers, Ohm's law, and common trade conversions one tap away.
IMPORTANT LIMITS
Light Layout Pro does not scan for or detect concealed framing. Layout results model only the room, framing, fixture, Safety Buffer, and ceiling-item measurements you enter. A clear modeled result does not confirm hidden conditions. Verify framing, piping, ductwork, wiring, manufacturer clearances, adopted codes, local amendments, plans, and job specifications before installation.
Fixture count is an input, not a lighting-design recommendation. The app does not calculate illumination levels.
Every calculation runs on your device. Light Layout Pro has no account system, analytics, advertising, or tracking. Your current layout stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
