FAQ:
Does the physical LED on the Caps Lock key turn on?
No, the physical LED does not turn on. macOS does not allow control of the Caps Lock LED independently of its usual function. Also, having the LED on while working can be distracting. Instead, the app provides a visual indicator in the menu bar to show whether the stopwatch is on or off.
Is Caps Lock enabled when the stopwatch is on?
No, the Caps Lock key only toggles the stopwatch.
Do I need to install any additional software?
No, additional software is not needed! There are instructions on how to set up the app upon download (takes just 2 minutes).
Does the app require Accessibility permission?
No, the app does not need Accessibility, or Input Monitoring permissions!
Does it work with external keyboards?
The app is designed specifically for your mac's native keyboard, but it can work with both your built-in Mac keyboard and Apple’s external keyboards. It may or may not work with other brands of external keyboards, depending on the manufacturer.
