More flexible amount entry (comma or period), faster conversions even while rates refresh, stronger Siri Shortcuts, and improved stability.

MonnaieConvert is now more dependable (launch fix, proper background refresh declaration) and clearer: localized UI and error messages (EN / FR / ES), a refreshed About screen with your real app icon and transparent copy on where rates come from (Frankfurter / ECB) and that they’re indicative. On the experience side: accent color presets for light personalization, smoother animations and haptics on the converter, and improved accessibility cues across key screens. Under the hood, the app uses a more modern Swift stack (async/await, Observation) for snappier behavior and easier upkeep — backed by broader automated tests (including the Rates tab and Settings).

MonnaieConvert has been modernized with a more premium, smoother, and more engaging experience. The app now features a cohesive visual design, a more polished converter, an improved widget, stronger accessibility, and a more robust technical foundation for reliability and future growth.

US sales tax refresh (April 2026) We updated high-traffic jurisdictions to better match current practice: Denver (city rate effective January 2025 plus RTD/SCFD bundled for the correct 9.15% combined stack), New York City (8.875% total including standard local/MTA treatment), and Los Angeles (indicative 9.75% combined). The in-app “Last updated” label now shows 22 April 2026 so users see when figures were reviewed. Unit tests were revised accordingly, and a new Denver combined-rate test prevents regressions on that total.

Clearer rates, fewer false alarms — The app no longer suggests you’re “offline” just because the rate date isn’t today: Frankfurter follows official publication (often the last business day). A warning banner only appears when a refresh fails and the app is still showing your last saved rates on the device, with clearer copy and a retry action.

This update makes converting currencies easier and faster: Home screen widget for your favourite pair, recent conversions history, favourites and rate alerts when a target is reached. Copy or share results with one tap. Use Siri or Shortcuts for hands-free conversion. Offline mode keeps your last rates available when the network fails, and a fallback chain across multiple data sources keeps rates up to date reliably.

Favorites: Favorite currency pairs with quick access Recent conversions: Reusable conversion history Copy / Share: Buttons below the conversion result Rate alerts: Notifications when a threshold is reached Siri & Shortcuts: “Convert 100 EUR to USD” via Siri or the Shortcuts app Offline mode: Banner when rates are outdated, with a “Retry” button Widget: Exchange rate on the home screen (1 EUR → USD)

MonnaieConvert is now more “pro” with favorite currency pairs, recent conversions history, and quick actions to copy/share results. You can also set up rate alerts and get notifications when a threshold is reached.
