NCG Top 100s – the home of golf course rankings
Discover the definitive, independently compiled golf course rankings from NCG Top 100s. Curated by lifelong golfer and editor Dan Murphy, our lists focus on the course from the 1st tee to the final green: pure golfing merit, no commercial influence.
What makes NCG Top 100s different is our transparent, course-first methodology. We assess layouts as they play, welcome 9-hole and 12-hole gems, and only consider cost when a list is explicitly labelled "Value". Accessibility doesn't affect inclusion; the course is still the course.
Each ranking season runs from late March to late October, so courses are judged in peak condition. Panellists commit to playing the longlisted venues, and our process is visible and accountable to the clubs involved.
